Went to see the Terracotta Warriors exhibit at the Pacific Science Center about a week ago and really enjoyed the exhibit and would strongly recommend it! The exhibit was designed well and executed extraordinarily! So much to interest and appeal to visitors of all ages! And loved a trip to the Butterfly House afterwards. TerracottaWarriors will be open until 09/04/17.

A great place, a great learning experience and overall fun. My kids love the laser show, the highlight of the day. If you have a membership it’s free to see the laser shows and also faster to get in PSC, don’t have to wait in the line.

Such a fun place to take my young kids since there are so many things that are fun and interesting for the adults too. We especially love the butterfly room and the saltwater pool. And I only feel that we’ve explored less than 50% of the spaces in the two+ years we’ve been frequently visiting; it’s very spacious!

Our family has had a Pacific Science Center membership for years. The Butterfly exhibit is one of our favorite places in the city. The center has done several updates in recent years and it's still a great place for kids and adults alike.

We had an absolutely awesome family day, with the highlight of the Terra Cotta Warriors at the top of the list! The staff were courteous and kind, as well as knowledgeable and happy to teach.

Always a great time here. We moved to the PNW two years ago and heard all kinds of great things about this place...it does not disappoint. With 6 kids the membership is an amazing deal for us to be able to come back again and again. There truly is something for every age group!

An awesome experience! We went with our grandchildren and they had so much fun! The Imax played The Last Reef and that was really educational for the children and adults. We recommend the Pacific Science Center to anyone visiting the Seattle area.

A great place to bring children to expose them to a variety of science topics; dinosaurs, space travel, the planets, earth events and numerous hands-on activities. For butterfly lovers there is a great tropical butterfly room.

We visited yesterday and one of the first things my son said to me this morning was "Mom I want to go back to the science place" we had a lovely visit. The butterfly room is always a magical experience and there was truly so much for kids to see and do and learn. Great place for enriching your kid's learning with hands on learning and experiences! I don't post my kids face publicly but I got the best picture of him with so much wonder (and a fair amount of sparkle ✨️) in his eyes 🤩 Thats the look a child makes when they're falling in love with learning.

Very fun place. Definitely take kids although it will take much longer to explore everything. With two adults, it took us about two hours to see most everything. If you’re from Washington, you actually get a discount on your admission fee, which is kind of nice.

A great mostly-interactive science museum. I especially liked the butterfly room and the space exhibits. There were a lot of other exhibits to try, including some of my favorite oldies. Recommended.

The Pacific Science Center has changed a lot since I was a kid, but they still have some great offerings you can certainly spend an afternoon exploring, not to mention the Laser Dome and IMAX Theatre there. Definitely be sure to check out the butterfly room. It's nice and warm during the fall and winter and seeing the butterflies is a treat.

Perfect place for kids to not only learn about science, but burn off some energy. A lot of exhibits are hands-on and interactive. The butterfly exhibit was probably the most unique thing for me as you are surrounded by live butterflies and seeing them up close. Expect to reasonably be here for 90-120 minutes in a visit.

We went to the Science Center as our day trip into Seattle and it is, hands down, the most enjoyable place I've been to in Seattle. They have a ton of small and large exhibits, a laser show, a planetarium, a tropical butterfly house, and a food court with a ton of enjoyable options! We didn't go to a laser show, but we did visit the planetarium and butterfly house (along with all the exhibits!) and had a blast. I paid for four hours of parking thinking it would be more than enough and I was wrong because the time flew by. Would recommend 10/10. Shout out to Alec at the Planetarium and Ellis at the Butterfly house for being awesome folks!

We had dinner time so decided to visit since we had an affiliate astc passport program. It was a nice place for families. We didn’t go with our children but had a good time in the butterfly garden and laser show. It’s in a great location as well as there’s tons going on outside. Not as big as I expected and there were places that were out if service

We could have easily spent the whole day here, but we only set aside 4 hrs, including the laser light show to finish! The butterfly room, the salt water pool, so many interactive items! The tinker room caught me by surprise. I could've spent a cpl hours in just that one space. Bring snacks as there is only a drink vending machine. No concessions.

The laser dome shows are the highlight. Take the one with magic movies, it's actually Disney soundtrack on my visit. These are free but reserve early. The exhibits area is relatively smaller compared to bigger Science centers, but theres still a lot to explore and interact (funny one was the dinosaur heads which you can actually move.) And they have two Imax theatres. Didn't go to those as they are separately charged.

Hard to complain about a place where you can drop your kids off for a day, sit back and relax. The center has lots of activities for kids to do and to be honest, as a parent I enjoyed the butterfly garden as well. The only down side is, of course, the fact that center opens at 10 instead of 9.

I took my husband to his first laser show. The Weeknd laser show was phenomenal. We paid $15 per ticket enjoyed something new together. We can’t wait for the next shows!

We had a great experience, all four of the children we went with (ages 4, 8, 10, and 13) enjoyed themselves, as did the adults! There was lots to see and do, and I love all the interactive activities. Would recommend to anyone.

We spent there for 3.5 hrs but still not enough time to explore everything. This place is bigger than I expected so there’s a lot to explore and interact. The laser dome shows are the best, but have to make reservations prior the shows (you can choose from time slots). We enjoyed the Taylor Swift one as we were unable to check every show. If you adore butterflies they have a small butterfly garden which I loved! Also they have two Imax theaters but tickets are sold separately. There isn’t any place to eat or drink so you’d eat at Armory that is within only 3 mins walking distance.

Another great museum to take your family ! They don’t offer discount for youth and military personnel. It can be quite expensive to go there. We enjoy our time there as a family!

As far as the Center itself, it is amazing, we saw the Butterfly exhibit (which is very humid) and very fun. They have an insect collection that is fascinating. Imax: we saw the latest Mission Impossible movie And the IMAX theater was great. Get there EARLY before the showtime so you aren't forced to sit in front of kids that kick your seat during the movie. Parking can be difficult, we had to pay for parking which is the unfortunate norm for Seattle. We got the one closest to the center. Would recommend it anytime, just start the day early due to Seattle traffic (even if you are near Seattle) For 4 people to go into the center and watch a movie it was $186 so make the most of it.

I have been bringing my nephew and niece to this place for years, yet it never occurred to me to write a review until now. Today, I had the pleasure of taking my mom and niece along. One of the things that has always impressed me about this place is its fantastic laser show, which never fails to captivate the audience. Additionally, they offer a plethora of interactive activities that engage children and even make studying enjoyable. It's a perfect destination for young children, as it combines entertainment and education seamlessly.
