The newly remodeled 3rd floor with the hard wood floor and chandeliers were a great addition. The place was roomy, clean, and loved the high ceilings. We had 5 servers for about 20 tables which was good and food came out in a timely manner. Really like the fact that they served each of our plates at the main stage table. Food was really good too! Been here in the past for previous weddings but this time, the food was really good! My favorite was the deep fried shrimp and crab claw. We had a great time! Thank you so much for making our wedding reception a huge success! Everyone had a great time! Would definitely recommend for future weddings!

The friendliest owners and staff together with the lakeside ambient along with the tasty food & beverage accompanied with the multicultural entertainment, it brought us the best experience of Seattle Chinese cuisine. We would never forget the 4th of July firework show and dinner on the lake at the China Harbor Restaurant, we were astonished at the special moment. We miss China Harbor Restaurant and we were touched by the generosity, the genuineness and the greatness extended by the owners and the staff. It is a must-go dining experience upon our next visit to Seattle.

Jack and I brought our daughter's future in-law from Indianapolis here for lunch, we all liked and enjoyed food, view and especially the customer services in this restaurant. I thought I lost my eye glass, called Miss Wong ( the hostess ) she helped a lot, then I found it. Appreciate your patient and helpfulness.

In many ways the work of a critic is easy. We risk very little, yet enjoy a position over those who offer up their work and their selves to our judgement. We thrive on negative criticism, which is fun to write and to read. But, the bitter truth we critics must face is that, in the grand scheme of things, the world is often unkind to new talent and new creations. Last night I experienced something new, an extraordinary meal of Almond Fried Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Lover's Eggplant, and Hot and Sour Soup from a singularly unexpected source. To say that both the meal and its makers have challenged my preconceptions about fine Chinese cooking, is a gross understatement -- they have rocked me to my core. Not everyone can become a great artist, but a great artist can come from anywhere. It is difficult to imagine more humble origins than those of the men and women now cooking at China Harbor, who are, in this critic's opinion, nothing less than the finest chefs in Seattle, if not Washington state. I will be returning to China Harbor soon, hungry for more.

First time here after moving to Seattle 8 years ago since we recently saw some reviews saying that they have a new chef and their dim sum is good. Came on a Sunday right after they opened at 11 and were promptly seated by the window. The food is definitely on par with good dim sum places in Seattle. Ambiance is good, nice water front view, easy parking, and friendly staff. Highlight was their Typhoon squid, which is a bit rare to find. We will definitely be back!

Haven’t been to this area so it was a nice visit for us, especially with the water view and seeing all the baiting activities. The place is old, could use some maintenance but charming, water view. This was a good perk for a little family dinner. We only order dim sum which is limited on weeknights. We enjoy that it came out hot, probably the hottest dim sum we had. What stood out was the pork seems better here than other dim sum places. Most of the other places tastes almost the same, which is good. We tried the soup dumpling, good but not as good as Din Tai Fung. Service was slow, seem understaffed but they are nice. Encounter a spoon that was not completely clean, it was washed just some dried food that oat likely the washer didn’t clean. Overall enjoy our meal, would definitely come back.

Love this place. Wait staff was very friendly, knowledgeable of the menu and the food was DELICIOUS. Old school vibe- small staff working their butts off so be patient. It’ll be with the wait. Get the deep fried CRAB!

More than a decade ago, I came here for my sister’s amazing wedding banquet. During the pandemic we also ordered takeout from them, but today I finally came back here in person for Saturday dim sum for the first time since back then. It was a fantastic, cozy nostalgia trip. Not too busy and the servers were attentive and friendly. Plus, the dim sum was fresh and tasty — it was a bit of my childhood visiting Hong Kong/Vancouver that I had missed so much. We did have to prompt the server for a couple dishes that were missed, but they were super friendly and the dishes came out very quickly after that.

Amazing view and dim sum, owner put lot of attention to detail, all ceramic is beautiful without flaw, and every dish will be served on specific ceramic plate to enhance the experience. This restaurant is sitting a huge float house, exterior and the externals might look dated, but once you sit down that million dollar lake view will bring your experience to new level.

Longtime Seattlite here, this place has been on my bucket list for a long time. We came in for dinner but ordered off the Dim Sum menu. Everything we had was great, special shout-out to the shrimp rolls and the xiao long bao. Service was really good, although it wasn’t busy. We got a glass of wine and a beer plus five dishes and only spent $60. The ambiance leaves something to be desired but it’s pretty par for the course as far as Chinese food places in Seattle.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! First time coming in after driving by several times. We were the only people in the restaurant which is massive with a wonderful view of the water. I honestly don't think you can beat this price point for the quality of food in Seattle. They have several individual combos ranging from $11-15 and family style combos where you get everything listed from the menu which was insane. Food all tasted fresh and the fried rice from the combo was so good. I got the family combo B which was $23 pp , we got a massive appetizer platter, soup, and 3 entrees!! This cannot be beat. I personally think this is a hidden gem because everyone I went with said I had no idea this is a restaurant.

We have always driven by China Harbor and finally decided to give it a try, glad we did! The service is excellent, friendly and fast. The food was great and very reasonably priced, we got several dishes for our group of 6 and ended up paying $25 each. And obviously it has a gorgeous view right on the water. We love that this place is easy to get to and has free parking! Will be back

Ok, to be fair, I AM from Vancouver BC and thus wasn’t expecting culinary delight in Seattle - especially when my niece insisted on taking us out of the International District and to Lake Union. Hmmmm…!! Drove up to this rather impressive but rather plain entrance and I was very pleasantly surprised by how many and how cheap parking is there. Walked up and into the rezzie and I was immediately blown away by how fabulous the view was. WOW! This is Seattle at its best - bright sunshine and yet temperate weather. The bright sunshine though shows the age of the decor and horror of horror - dirty windows - which is such a shame for such a magnificent view. Perhaps too much rain up to only recently and thus they’ve not had a chance to clean them? The food.. Oh my God! Gotta say I never expected such good food in Seattle! My niece told me that their chef - chef Danna - is a very well known and is practically a celebrity in the Seattle culinary scene. Impressive food, very well presented and deeelicious! And as to price, I’m used to Canadian pricing and when converted to Cad$ does seem to be a bit on the pricey side. But my luncheon companions told me that it’s nothing outlandish for Seattle and very much in line with other similar places WITHOUT the added bonus of the views. Definitely a place I’d recommend to my Vancouver friends who plan to go down to avoid some of disappointments in Seattle.
