Absolutely loved this place! Cozy atmosphere with delicious food. We had the beef & celery pan fried dumplings, they were cooked great with just the right amount of crunch. We had the Lamb skewers as well, they were so tender & the seasoning was a great compliment to it. The marinated egg was very d
Hand made dumplings you can tell, the dumpling wrap is made a little too dry, I saw several are cracking open. The stir fried beef and potato is very savory, better pair with rice or some other main dish.
Ordered the pork bao and the shrimp+pork dumplings. They were both tasty and freshly made. For me the real winner was the hot and sour soup, I had to ask for an extra bowl. Excellent service too.
Awesome handmade dumplings. Im a little skeptical of the xaio long bao, they were just mediocre. But the otheres were absouletely excellent. Chewy dough and quality fillings. Good prices and quick and friendly service. Small and cozy.
Service was good, food was decent. We ordered the bian dumplings, beef and fennel dumplings, eggplant/potato/bell pepper stir fry, and tofu skin stir fry. The bian dumplings were good - not chewy or dry. The beef and fennel dumplings were a little tough, but not too dry. The tofu skin stir fry was
I have been wanting to try these for a long time. I finally got the chance for lunch today and was beyond impressed. Fresh, made to order, delicious dumplings! Bian Dumplings, Xiaolong, Pork and Nappa, and their daily special Won Tons in spicy chili oil. These are the best dumplings i have ever had,
Still don’t really understand what sauerkraut fish is but it was amazingly delicious. Perfectly battered, crunchy on the outside, tender batter on the inside, savory spices. Also the bean curd sheets in the mixed vegetable dish were so good, new texture to me and the tangy sauce was so good. Noodles
Authentic dumpling like my neighbor used to make. Properly steamed and the contents where not to dry and not to sogy just right for dipping sauces. Don't believe the reviews on dry dumplings they are just used to under cooked soggy dumplings. I also order the potato eggplant pepper flavor was well b
Yo this place is the best barbershop in Seattle. Every time I go in they get me right, ever barber knows what’s good. I trust these guys- sometimes I’m not sure how I want it cut, but they have the eye and talent to execute a 10/10 each time. The vibes are great too. Super friendly and charismatic p
I highly recommend the Bian dumplings and the Spicy Wontons. The xiao long bao seemed very mediocre and perhaps frozen? However the Bian dumplings and wontons were so good and completely made up for it. In addition the prices are insanely low. We got about 6 orders of dumplings and it was under 30 b
Orders some take out, laobian dumplings, boiled pork and shrimp dumplings, beef triple. Let's start with beef triple, the flavor is ok, no strange smell like I've tried in other restaurants, but, it was very salty, I had to boil the triple in water to get rid of the excessive saltyness, not recommen
One of the best dumplings I've had outside of China! Very authentic. Freshly cooked with rich taste!
They are finally back! These are the BEST Mandarin Bian dumplings, without the jet lag. Chef Wong and Christina interpret 200-year-old culinary favorites. I am hooked.
Everything I tried was great, and at a good price. I especially liked the garlic pork belly skewers and the laobian dumplings. Highly recommended for anyone in the U district.
This place is cheap and delicious! I am amazed and impressed by this place and plan to go back as often as I can before rents on the Ave take their toll and raise prices to something more reasonable. Not vegetarian friendly, but very very tasty.
