Wandering around the area after a convention, I stopped in because the smell was so wonderful. I was the first customer of the day and treated myself to a wonderful sampler plate. Wow! All this for one person? I think there is enough for 4 people to have a filling meal. The flavors blended beautifully. Rich deeply spiced dishes that blended wonderfully with the mild veggies. I will be going back again!

The food was excellent. Is by far the best Eritrean/Ethiopian food I had in Seattle area. However the restaurant was little bit disorganized, I had to walked back in to get my correct order. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant they got delicious food. The service needs improvement.

First time here and fantastic experience both in service and in food! Great selection and many choices. So very tasty!! And the staff were all so very friendly and helpful to figure out the best items to select for my son, who doesn't eat any meat just vegetables and fish, and I. Very very pleased with this establishment and definitely will be back!!!

Wow we got the meat and veggie combo. It was absolutely stellar and rich with flavor. I also thought it was a really good spread. Definitely get the dark if you like more sour (highly recommended). Really nice staff too :)

I had come here to explore the Ethiopian cuisine and I have to say the experience was amazing. Based on the previous reviews here, I ordered the vegetarian combo and it exceeded my expectations. Its not any kind of fancy food, but simple food prepared well. The combo had around nine separate portions of lentils, beetroot, beans, cabbage preparations. This might sound so basic and a everyday home food, but you need to give it a shot. The bread was soft and flavorful. I also ordered the lamb tibbs and it was good, the meat was tender and well cooked. This was more than a sufficient for two people at a reasonable price of less than $50. The service was great too. The waitress did a very good job of quickly attending us and explaining the menu since this was my first time and also provided their recommendations. You will find plenty of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. I liked how the payment was to be made using a QR code from your own phone. There is ample parking around in the residential area. The food has now encouraged me to try some other Ethiopian restaurants however will definitely be back here. My only disappointment was they do not have any desert option on the menu.

The last time I had traditional Ethiopian fare was in Addis Ababa, and this place is easily as good as the best I had there. Outstanding, tasty, authentic, and this place is always packed with Ethiopians. Incredibly priced, too. We will definitely be back!

Delicious and fulfilling! Got the Zagol combo (which has veggies and a meat dish), honey wine (which was really sweet!), and the jebena coffee ceremony. Everything was a bop. - Server was kind even though we changed tables twice because of the sunlight - Large spacing and simple decorations - Quiet on a 2 PM Monday but still had some guests other than me and my roommate - We cleaned up the combo which was more than enough for 2 people - Coffee was really good!!

Nice spot for some tasty Ethiopian food. Was impressed by the fact that 1 person was serving the entire restaurant and she was still attentive and quick. Veggie platter is delicious.

What a wonderful experience it was. Me and my husband visited this place on Sunday afternoon for lunch. Staff is really helpful and the place it very warm and welcoming. If its your first time its safe to order the veggie platter and don’t forget to order the honey wine.

Delicious food in a cozy setting. We got the Veggie combo and each of the selections were fresh and delicious. Down a star for having no other drinks than Ethiopian beer. There is literally a bar connected to this place with the same name. Service was slow and a bit aloof. But food is great and that's what counts.
