this is a small, family owned place. they know me here, because i come all the time for pho.
the menu is actually pretty large, but i usually get what i get and don't meander too far off the beaten path. the seating area is pretty large and there is a tv camped in the corner to catch up on things.
the broth is pretty tasty and although sometimes the basil is a little wilty, things are pretty good. i'm a fan of the pho tai and spring rolls, but some of the bun is good too. you can get your food bag on for a relatively cheap price and everything comes out hot and quickly. it's pretty hard to beat.
Goodness. Simple, quick and inexpensive. i come here to get my pho on, because it's much easier than to head down to the id and find parking.
there's a lot on the menu, but i usually go with my standard bowl of pho. that said, i've taken out on bahn mi and a float now and then. everything is pretty good and eventually, i'll break out of my slump and start trying other things.
Wonderful food and very affordable! Found this place coming home from work one evening food is fresh and terrific. I love to eat at Thien Phat when I'm also in a hurry because of the fast service. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes Vietnamese food
Cheap and Damn Good. Update: Now I've had several entrees, all equally amazing.
I've only ever had the bahn mi (vietnamese sandwiches) here but they're awesome. The bread has always been perfectly crusty and soft (never stale) and both the tofu and the bbq pork are heavenly. The menu is quite extensive and from what I've seen on peoples plates as I walk to the counter, looks good. They've got pho, noodle dishes, and a wide array of entrees. Today the special was Goat Egg Noodle Soup. It's also very clean - not at all run down as noodle shops in Rainier Valley can sometimes be.
Fresh, affordable and tasty!. I love this restaurant - I just discovered it since moving to Beacon Hill, or rather my brother did. He walked by and noticed the parking lot was full of cop cars and figured it must be descent and probably cheap. He was right! It's a great deal, great Bahn Xao and they have my favorite treat - avacado shakes. This place is my go-to for last minute no fail affordable good food!!
We've been going to this restaurant for years! The food stays delicious. The only things that have changed are their servings and prices, which is to be expected with Seattle. However, it's still reasonable that we keep coming back. We often go with a group of 7 or more people, but their service stays quick without taking away from the quality of their food. We've memorized the menu by now! I recommend their broken rice dishes.
Great flavor, good friendly service from Ann. Good portions. Clean spacious place. Air conditioned
We ordered takeout. One of the best restaurants in the neighborhood. Starting from the service and continuing to the the delicious food options with excellent food quality rates

I have tried a lot of dishes here and all are veryyyy gooddd. Authentic Vietnamese food. Portion was big. Very tasty
Awesome tasting food and service! Meal started out with a flavorful tea. I ordered I believe the Five Spice Chicken (official name may be slightly off). It wasn't hot spicy but a great mix of cinnamon and other spices. My BF ordered the Rice Porridge. It was great as well with a kick of ginger. On the side we had spring rolls that were the biggest I've seen. Service was friendly as well. I'd visit over and over.
What a great, unpretentious place. So far, I only had their Phos (Pho Ga Nuong — Pho w grilled chicken — is my favorite so far), vermicelli rice bowls (yum!) and Banh Mis. Their clay pots are next on my list. ;)
Pro tip: sometimes they also have delicious sesame balls, and… omg so good. You can usually see them by the cash register, so you can pick them up when you check out.
This is one of my favorite restaurants, a gem in the Beacon Hill/Columbia City. The food is outstanding; this include my personal favorites like chicken congee with ginger (rice porridge, it's what Asians slurp when we feel under the weather...similar to American chicken soup.), oxtail soup served with pho, and vermicelli bowl with grilled meat, fish, and egg rolls pictured below. Oooo so good!!
Great portions and flavor!
Been coming here for years… never tried the crispy noodles with chicken and vegetables till tonight . FANTASTIC. This family run business is not about the ambience- it’s about fresh delicious food. Their sauces are all old family recipes- literally never disappoints.
Lots of choices, have enjoyed everything I've had here.
