I love this Deli! The owner Amha is an absolute gem of a person. He will always greet you with a smile, and it's like cheers every time you enter. I need to fill my growler next time I visit. Sandwiches are amazing, and a great value. I will be back many times more.

I worked up the block from Stella Deli and Market for two years and stopped by at least once a week. THIS PLACE IS THE BEST. I have tried almost every sandwich on the menu and they are all marvelous. I highly recommend the Sounder. Amha, the owner, is a wonderful man and will make you feel like a regular after your first visit. I no longer work in the area but I go out of my way to get a sandwich, bottle of wine, or growler when I am nearby. Superb store. Job well done, Amha!

One of my favorite places to go in the neighborhood! Great sandwiches, an amazing, friendly staff, and they stock all the necessities. I get a sandwich probably once a week and they've always been awesome and substantial (particular favorites include the combo #1, big rancher, and sounder). The staff here take their time to make sure that you get just what you want and don't just slap together two pieces of bread with a sad sliver meat inbetween. I've seen them go out of their way time and time again to acommendate customers as best they can which is reason enough to support them. They also have a good sized wine and beer selection (and they do growlers) which of course doesn't hurt!

The BEST spot in LQA for deli sandwiches! Also, love their wine selection. The only place that reminds me of the bodegas/deli back in NYC.

I just moved into the neighborhood and I have been here twice now. I already love it. First, the place has a surprisingly big collection of wines. The store doubles up as a general store and has pretty much everything you might need at a moment's notice like toilet paper, snacks, beer, even cling wrap, some stationary items etc. They are open until 10 on weekdays and 11 on weekends so makes for a good place to run to if you run out of beer on a weekend. Coming to their food, their sandwiches are absolutely on-point. They are ALWAYS made fresh and you can clearly see the chef taking his/her time to carefully make the sandwich and don't usually hurry through the order. As a result- yes, the orders take a bit of time to be ready but they are never anything less than good. The people who run the place are always very polite and have a warm smile on their faces when you walk in. They have a dining area with a couple of tables where you can spend some time having your meal. Free wi-fi is decent, but not super-fast. It's good enough for most of your basic needs (just don't start streaming youtube or netflix and start complaining about the buffering). I've had a latte twice here and it's more of a hit or miss. Definitely good but the consistency of froth varied hugely both times. I know I will keep coming back to this place again and again as long as I am in this neighborhood. Oh and one of the best things about this place: They play NPR radio station (one of the only places I have been so far that do this) on their speakers.

Ordered the bacon, egg and cheese. It was exactly what I wanted and only $6. The combination of value and quick service made this a great stop. Perfect location too! Walked down and ate by the water.

This place has the best sandwiches in Seattle. Notice how all of the low stars are from people complaining about nonsense like a forgotten order or an experience they had one time where it felt slow. If you want that go to Subway, if you want an absolutely delicious sandwich with high quality ingredients from a local small business, go here.

These guys are my dudes and dudette!! They make delicious sandwiches (with boars head meats) and dolmas! The prices are affordable especially for Seattle. The store feels like a community gathering spot and they really look after the community. You may pay a tiny premium for the convenience of getting beer or wine here but to me it's worth it for the convenience. Call in your sandwich order usually ready within 15 minutes unless they are very busy.

Really happy to have this little convenience store in the neighborhood! First off, the sandwiches are fantastic! Everything is made fresh and pretty quickly, sometimes there's a lunch rush but that's to be expected these days. Also, they have an excellent wine section with a lot of varieties and descriptions. The two people I have met behind the counter are very kind and easy to talk to. They certainly make you feel like you are a part of their neighborhood

A great little corner market and deli, Stella has a great wine and beer selection (including growler fills from their limited tap selection), various snacks, drinks, and other sundry items, and a great selection of deli meats, cheeses, and fresh made sandwiches. Their sandwich specials are wonderful, or you can have your favorites made exactly as you want them, ordered custom. The breads are wonderful, the meats thinly sliced and piled high, the cheeses generously applied, and all the toppings and condiments are fresh. Hard to go wrong at a solid deli like this one. Friendly staff prepare yummy food with pride that shows. A great spot for lunch, they tend to be crowded around the noon hour, so I suggest making that lunch visit a little early or late to avoid the rush.

Hard working family owned deli that cuts all the BS. They have what you want. Sandwiches are delicious made with Boar's head meats and cheeses. Coffee, beer, tons of wine, sodas and water. They make great coffee and even have fresh beans to take home. They make such great use of their limited space. Plus how can you beat being greeted with a smile and hello, always. Love this spot!

The best part of my day at work is when I go to Stella deli and market. Their sandwiches are always so tasty. A lot of people at my work complain at how "slow" they are making their sandwiches. I think they are fine as they have yet to mess up on any of my orders, which I'd rather have then a fast sandwich that is missing half of what you wanted. The owner and workers are always so nice and cheerful to me. Love a place where they know your name. Also, thank you for adding a punch card for sandwiches. Gotta love customer rewards. Highly recommend!
