Stopped here while shopping for lunch. My wife got the wok this way which was pretty good. I really liked it. Tasted pretty well and the quantity was good as well. I got a make your own salad and there were a bunch of options to choose from. I really liked the picked ginger . Anyway, a pretty nice place for a Salad. I actually ended up going again in the Seattle Tacoma airport while traveling recently and really liked the refreshing food.
Awesome place to get healthy salads and yes of course lots of vegan options, salads are pretty big and I was really full once I was done with mine! The picture below is a large salad, and it’s super nicely decorated inside too! Will be back
Fast service and reasonable price. Great portion also. Better deal than the Starbucks salad for sure. One of the healthy options to eat in University Village. Just watch out all ingredients are in the salad if you are ordering from the menu. Mine was missing egg. They put it on top after I mentioned it.
I went back the other day and tried more things. I had Brussels Wilson and it was delicious! Their soup was also tasty! It was tomato& basil.
This was my first visit here. After spending too much time at the Apple store and getting hangry, I kept seeing salads that looked amazing, so I asked someone in between bites and they pointed me here. Menu is pretty simple, with seasonal specials and add ons. I asked for a suggestion as well as asking if it was Celiac safe. The very nice gal behind the counter suggested the Sombrero and assured me I'd be ok. Pointing out that the crouton bowl was sitting directly next to the black beans, she got out a new black bean and served me from there. That was awesome and far more appreciated than I think I could have expressed. I will get super ill from just a crumb or two, so good on you guys. Super great. Ingredients were fresh and colorful. I picked up a kombucha from the counter so I could really feel like I was winning the healthy(er) lunch battle. The only thing I might change next time is maybe a smaller scoop of jalapeño in my bowl. Thanks for a great lunch.
Ambience and decor is wonderful. Service may perhaps blindside those who are new or unfamiliar with the menu, but oh well that's not really a complaint. And the food is all fresh and tasty, so as long as you're not looking for a hot meal but then again what did you expect walking in to evergreen$?
Edit: Evergreens responded quickly to my feedback and it turns out customizations are still available on their menu items - my experience was just a one-off oops. They even offered to give me a credit for a free entrée reward to make up for the experience.
Went in last week after not having visited for a while. The menu is completely different from a year or so ago - no more grain bowls, no more quinoa, and a few toppings (olives, sun dried tomatoes, turkey) are no longer available. I used to get “The Super Bowl” but it’s no longer on the menu. I was also told that no modifications could be made to the menu items, unless you build your own salad, which was a bummer. I ended up ordering one of the new warm bowls to go, but when I asked for the dressing on the side, was told that wasn’t allowed. The employees were polite and helpful, but it was overall a disappointing experience that made me miss the old Evergreens!
Good Healthy Vittles. Evergreen is a salad resturant that provided a expansive menu of different salad. The menus clearly indicate vegetarian, vegan and gluten free items. You can choose a protein to add or make modifications. The salads come in a medium or large size. The one in the photo is a large.
Aliana was super awesome answered all my questions and was very kind for my first ever visit. Area is clean and fast. Really happy with my visit. Especially with aliana, someone better give her a raise :)
Best salad in Seattle. They have some pre determined menu items but I always just build my own salad with some tortillas on the side to make my own wrap. It can be in the spendier side, about $24 for one person but it's worth it in my opinion
Your food tastes great not just because its vegan but also because its based on compassion for animals. Your salads tastes better than many others i tried and are quite a filler for me.
Thank you for great taste and serving our growing vegan community!
So fast and good service. Really helpful when wanting to customize our orders.
You should def add cranberries to everything
We've enjoyed lunch here about half a dozen times now. The employees are always friendly and I really appreciate that they ask how much dressing you'd like, rather then overdressing their salads. Ingredients have always been fresh. The only downside is how tight the seating is. It's especially challenging on times when we've brought our stroller. Overall, a good spot for lunch while at U Village.
Evergreens is a salad chain that has a set menu and some seasonal specials. They are known for being able to custom make your salad with a ton of different vegetables, proteins, dressings and more. El Sombrero is probably the best salad here and it's nice to alter it without having to spend a ton of money. Salads can get extremely expensive here very fast too, so be careful and try to stick to adjusting the ones already on the menu. This location in U Village has a friendly staff, but parking is a pain and lines can get long during peak times from lots of students all over.
