Al's Tavern - Seattle - Photo album

A perfect and unpretentious dive bar that plays great music.
A Seattle classic. Been going here since the early 1990s, before they could serve cocktails. Back then, it already felt like a place your grampa used to drink as a young man. It's a credit to the owners that it still feels that way today.
Cash only and the pool table is a 7 footer, but pleasant environment - good little bar overall
Old school bar with not a hint of decoration. However, the place has a very friendly atmosphere and is filled with "regulars" who are genuinely nice people. The music is always well chosen and the volume is not so loud as to interrupt your conversation. Service is generally done at the bar but they
Very rude staff. Over priced and didn't know how to make basic drinks. Bartender yelled at our whole party to leave after one person brought in half a bag of chips from outside, after we just pruchased drinks and games there. very rude even after we immediately left. Will not be returning anytime so
Be warned it is cash only. Once past that this is an amazing bar with a mural that many bars would be jealous of. Warm, friendly regulars with a couple pinball machines and Bob's Salty Nut Sack. When I first came here they did Drink and Draws but haven't seen that in a while but you can still doodle
They have an velvet Elvis over the booze. Is a review even necessary?
Best bar in Wallyhood, hands down. Cash Only but very chill bar, bartenders are friendly and fun to talk to, some regulars include a Bronson looking guy and a guy with a playful dog. In-house paintings, beautiful mural, pinball machines, single billiard table, Velvet Elvis.... Best Bar in Wallyhood
