Pretty authentic Yunnan styled noodle bar. I haven't found another place in Seattle that actually reminds me of the street noodle shops in China.
The food was wonderful! A little bit of a language barrier but well worth it and they were just as patient as well. Great place and great price.
Spicy fried sauce noodles (A7) are delicious, sometimes if you are a regular you can get an extra bowl of the "fried sauce" which is a treat. Bathrooms are dirty, but what did you expect? The owner is very nice, even through language barrier, just don't order in a confusing way if you are ordering in English. One of my favourite places in the U-district.
Loved the food most of the time -- tastes authentic, and the chicken stock is good for the health. Sometimes it could be a bit too casual, e.g., your waitress might be making your dish. When that happens, the taste of the food goes down a notch.
From Los Angeles and was in seattle visiting super hungry with nothing else open we gave it a shot! Normally I don't eat at places where everything is in a different language but this place was amazing! If I ever go to Seattle again This will be my go to spot before I start drinking
Using 100 scale, I would say the rice noodles scores over 90. The guy running the restaurant is supper friendly and nice even though his bad English and kindness makes people awkward sometimes.
Overall, it's a place definitely deserved to have a try.
