This place is great for it's location. It was quick and easy. The price is very reasonable. The crew is friendly and patient. The food was good. I like it spicy so I grabbed a few packs of hot sauce. You'll be in and out in less than 5!
I've eaten BBs often from their other location in the U district many times, so I was very excited to see they opened a location downtown. I stopped in today and it was just as good! Their yakisoba and pork is amazing as always.
The line was a bit long but you can always order ahead on their website. The portions are huge, definitely enough for two meals or for two people to share.
Overall I'm glad to see them growing and it makes a great addition to the downtown area!
Amazing range of options, for both the bases and the meats, and great flavors in the sauces and meats. They certainly heap your plate high. Super low prices for downtown lunch, too. It's no wonder the line is out the door at lunchtime, even on a rainy day. I'd strongly recommend arriving before 11:30 am to minimize the wait time.
So good. Get the brisket you won't regret it.
I've been here several times and have got come of my co-workers addicted to the place as well. The only disappointing aspect is the salad and their stir-fried veggies, but not disappointing enough to remove a star. Everything else is incredible. Teriyaki beef brisket? Yes PLEASE! It's amazing.
