I love little places like Bud's Cafe and Bar, especially ones that are pretty simple and down home in their nature. They only do one thing at Bud's - burgers - and they do them pretty damn well. It's nothing fancy, don't expect to see a big craft beer list, and there may be people waiting out the door to get in to get a burger on weekends. For over 70 years, Bud's Cafe and Bar has been serving thousands who have made the trip to Sedalia. And I'm pretty sure no one has left disappointed.
Buds is the best! When I come home to visit from Austin, it is a must!
Can't say I really didn't like the burger...just not worth driving 50 miles round trip for.
Best burgers ever . There is only. 4 things on the menu(hamburger,cheeseburger,double cheeseburger and double hamburger)but they do it better than any body else

Moist buns aside, I have to give a lot of credit to Bud’s Bar for their sheer simplicity and focus on lava-like American cheese and piping hot fresh beef. A little grilled onion and a dash of mustard or ketchup, and you’ve got one great way to spend $5.50.
