Not BBQ. Really disappointed as this is my BBQ night in TX. Axis IPA was good. I should have known as it is embedded in HEB Grocery which I like. Its just baked and flavored. Hotel recommended. I’ll break it her.

Delicious 2 meat plate! More than I could eat. Brisket was super tender and I was happy to have a “lean” option. Definitely worth the cost and not as expensive as rival BBQ joints in town. I love the open seating and not having a waitress to stress me out.

Place overated, corn bread and chicken dryer than the saharan desert, brisket was alright,ribs not even worth the extra charge .First time at the " true texas bbq" and very disappointed, wouldn't recommend this place.

Texas is known for BBQ and in my humble opinion the ribs and brisket will compete with many of the best outlets. This is a small town ( Born and raised in San Antonio) I live in now. Fifty miles from my hometown and no longer a need to drive 25 plus miles to the nearest best BBQ.😋😋😋😋😋

We sometimes grab some BBQ after shopping and a long day. Tastes great and I don't have to cook !

I have been wanting to try this place for awhile but just haven't until this evening, I was told by a co-worker to try the brisket frito pie, so that's what I ordered along with some brisket beans, well I was extremely disappointed with the frito pie, had decent taste, but it was pretty dry. had very little cheese on it just not all that appetizing, the beans on the other hand were pretty darn good, that's all I ate, threw my $8 frito pie in trash 😤.. i MIGHT try again, but without the frito pie..

Inside an H-E-B so parking is horrendous. Service once you order is very fast. Nice comfortable dining room. I got the three meat plate with coleslaw and green beans. Brisket, sausage, and pulled pork for $16 with water.
Portion size of meats was good and the sides were pretty big as well. Coleslaw was the way I like it not overly sweet. Green beans were a bit bland but hey, they are green beans after all. All three meats were good I would eat here again.

I was excited to try the beef dinosaur rib that two different Seguin H-E-B employees had told us about. They said it was $20 for about 1.5 to 2.0 lbs of meat. The ad on the monitor looked great. I bought one today & took it home. I weighed it because it looked rather small. It only weighed 14.1 ounces with the bone still in it! I love some fat, but this one had way too much fat & way too much salt! Weighed the bone by itself & it weighed 4.1 ounces. I just paid $20 for 10 ounces of highly fatty meat. Well at least my cats liked it even though one almost choked on the large amounts of fat. I called True Texas BBQ & all they said is we just cut & cook what they send us. They never once apologized. I cannot recommend this cut of meat at all. I will highly recommend their brisket & delicious turkey though!
