It is worth a try. The food was a bit salty for me, especially the papaya salad. More sour and sweet would be better. The noodles were too salty, I cannot remember the name of the dish. I wasn't able to finish half of it. The tomyum soup was good, but it would be better if the chicken was replaced by pork. Hot Tea could have been much better. The light was good. The atmosphere was ok, it felt kinda humid though.

I’ve decided I dislike food reviews because it’s so subjective. This establishment was decent. Love their basil and shrimp spring rolls, the sauce was spicy, too! We got pad thai, yellow curry salmon, and rainbow fried rice with chicken. The curry was excellent, savory and creamy—-the salmon was over cooked but still good. The other dishes were a bit dry and the pad thai was missing something. The customer service was great, she was very attentive. It’s a cozy and very casual restaurant with your typical Thai dishes. Their thai tea was yummy 😋 I’d come back and try other dishes.

Pad Thai noodles and lemon grass soup were great. I will revisit when in the area. I have had it marked for food in my maps for about a year. So I am glad I finally got to come in, have some ice tea and great food.

The best Thai restaurant I’ve ever been to. I spent the better part of six years living in Sevier County, and this is the restaurant I miss the most now that I don’t live there anymore! The drunken noodles have always been my go-to and are perfection every time in quality and flavor. All of the staff here are so nice, too.

Great prices A ton of food And now I want to try everything on the menu. I had some of the Currys and it was so good. I would definitely say the mild hotness is accurate if your trying to figure out how hot you like your food. You don't get burning sensations in your mouth or anything. If you want a little kick I would say hot for sure especially if you have a moderate spicy tolerances. It's definitely a good flavor. 👍

The food is delicious, staff is welcoming and friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxing. The drunken noodles meal is my favorite!

The thai hot didn't have any heat to it so I'm not sure if it was missed or if I'm just used to spicier food. The vegetable fried rice was a bit pricey for just rice and vegetables, but the portion was enough for 3 meals! The food and service was really good. We'll definitely be going back!

My husband and I tried this a little bit ago today & we absolutely loved it. I have been craving for the best thai food in town & have always had Thai Basil Restaurant in mind since before we moved to TN. We ordered the masaman curry & chicken satay & they were DELICIOUS! Would definitely recommend 100% & would love to come back for more in the future.

We came to TN for a family vacation (traveling from DE). This was our 1st restaurant we stopped at. The restaurant is fairly small inside and not fancy. We arrived around 6pm and it wasnt crowed and we were able to get a table within 3min of arriving for a party of 7. For apps we ordered and shared Spring Rolls, Thai Shrimp Rolls, Fresh Basil Rolls w/shrimp, and the Coconut Soup. For entrées, we ordered Drunken Noodles (shrimp and/or chicken), Shrimp Fried Rice and Drunken Mama w/shrimp. Our dessert was the Mango Sticky Rice. The top 2 apps were the coconut soup and the fresh basil rolls w/shrimp. The soup was mighty flavorful and the rolls were tasty and fresh. Top entrées were the drunken noodles and shrimp fried rice. Both were perfectly seasoned. Mom didn't care for the Drunken Mama too much, it was too sweet to her liking. Dessert was a great ending to our dinner experience. Overall, the food was perfectly seasoned, waitresses and hostess were both attentive and friendly and we left full and happy. I'd totally recommend Thai Basil of you're in Sevierville, TN!

We were dying for something that isn't burger, BBQ, or steak. So we found this place. The curry was really good. Yellow curry with lamb is the best! The flavor was pretty authentic.

Stopped in on our way back to Knoxville and had the best experience. The woman who took care of us was very friendly and attentive. The meat spring rolls were yummy, but the entrees were divine. Best Rama Curry I've had in ages and the mussels with the homemade sauce were fantastic! Will be back for sure to try more!!

Super accommodating. We walked in with 4 loud kids and the restaurant gave the kids their own table and let them eat pizza we got from outside! Food was good and portions were large. Service was great too.
