THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING!! Tiny restaurant tucked away, across from the Sevierville Courthouse. The brisket MELTED in your mouth!!! The pork was perfect.

The portions were huge. We have leftovers for at least 2 more meals.
Everything was excellent! We always try to find the hidden gems and this just happened to be stop number one of the trip. Very impressed with the food, prices, and mom and pop vibe. The pulled pork sandwich was melt in your mouth excellent. The fried pickles were great and i ordered the Mac and cheese for my child and i don’t like Mac and cheese and tried it and loved it. Highly recommend!
Fantastic food, great atmosphere and friendly staff!!! I definitely recommend this place. We had the pulled pork platter with beans and Mac & Cheese, fried green tomatoes appetizer and the pulled pork baked potatoe.
BEST Little BBQ Place in Tennessee! A classic local joint we found by accident while on vacation. There was a wait due to the small size of the place and the many folks wanting what they have. BEST pulled pork sandwich my wife and I have ever had. The BBQ sauce was delicious. The tater tots were a perfect compliment to the sandwich. The macaroni and cheese was mouth watering good. The sweet tea is self serve and terrific. The side of baked beans was the best we'd ever tasted. Drive out of your way for this not so hidden gem.
While in the Pigeon Forge area, we read good reviews online & decided to try it out...GLAD we did !
The BBQ was really good. The sides were just slightly better than average.
The service was friendly & flexible...they exchanged a side for another side.

Corn nuggets, fried green tomatoes, chicken fried steak, pulled pork sandwich, baked beans, fried bologna sandwich and the chicken strips with fries were wonderful. Great food great service, good prices.
We needed some BBQ today! Searched & found a new to us place to try. Hickory Cabin BBQ didn’t disappoint! We had their pulled pork sandwiches. So good! My husband enjoyed the potato salad. I ordered the onion rings. Both were delicious! Their drink cups are huge!! I heard others talking about the amazing Banana Pudding !
Hickory BBQ is close to the downtown Courthouse in Sevierville. Lots of local business! Take a little side trip & enjoy their BBQ soon!!
Highly recommend. Everything we ordered was fantastic including the brisket, burgers, prime rib, fried pickles, onion rings, etc. I would consider this place to be one of the hidden gems in the Sevierville area, partially because it's not on the main thoroughfare and partially because it's not an obvious restaurant - but it is right in downtown and Google maps will easily get you there. It's a family run restaurant, the day we ate there, Travis was taking orders (and answering questions about his menu - he's obviously the master chef with many great menu selections) and his daughter was running the counter. This will be one of our go-to eating locations everytime we come to the Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg area.
The fried green tomatoes, okra, and corn nuggets were terrific. The brisket was tender and not dry at all. The sauce was decent. On the whole, would visit again.
Great stop for BBQ. Highly recommended. The brisket is amazing and only served once a week. The wings and chicken tenders were delicious too. And don't forget the banana pudding. A must stop. Rebecca was amazing too.
It has a small dining area, but definitely worth the wait to eat there. The onion rings were great, and a large serving for the price. The BBQ pork nachos were unlike any I've ever had before; very unique and very good! The loaded baked potato with BBQ pulled pork was incredible! Incredibly clean, and super fast service!!
I will have to eat here again, just to try more of their food!
This is a little restaurant tucked away off the beaten path but it is worth the visit. It is very close to the parkway. We read an article on 8 places to visit in the area that you might not know about. Glad we went. The pork was moist and very flavorful. The have bbq sauce and you can add vinegar or spice to it to make your own perfect mixture. Do not skip the corn nuggets, they are little fried piece of deliciousness. The prices are very reasonable. 8.50 got me pork and two sides and as you can see from the pictures they didn't skimp on the helping. The staff there was very friendly and attentive. We will be back.

Eat Local whenever you can, buy local whenever you can... omg if you are ever in Gatlinburg try out the Hickory Cabin, hands down amazing with an amazing staff. Rebecca was the sweetest ever, and the food is amazing
AMAZING!!!! Small place, BIG flavors. Corn nuggets are completely addictive. Pulled pork on texas toast yummy. Great service. Hands down best BBQ had up in Tennessee.
Visited Hickory Cabin this past Friday (7/3/20) on the way back home. From the time we walked in to the time we walked out our experience here was fantastic! If you’re looking for a place where customers are well taken care of, look no further! Friendly fun service throughout our entire visit! And not to mention the food was PHENOMENAL! Huge thank you to Rebecca and Travis for making our visit here AMAZING!! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! We will definitely be back next time we’re in the area!🤩

I’m getting emotional just writing this review, that’s how good the food was. After eating this food you’ll feel inspired to take a nap, wake up, and solve all the problems of this world. Cups the size of Texas, platters that would make Biden and Trump agree on everything, and appetizers that would warm the heart of the coldest soul. Rebecca was amazing. Made us feel at home.
Just had lunch at this little hole in the wall. The food was excellent and so was the service. Beca was our server and she was great. We will come back before our vacation is over
