Heard nothing but good things about this place. We went to experience it for ourselves and we were very pleased with everything we ordered. We especially liked the tomato basil soup and turkey and apple panini! Highly recommend this establishment for anyone looking for a place to get a nice lunch with a friendly atmosphere and delicious food!
Was here yesterday with my family. Food was amazing! And, thanks to the loaf of gluten free bread my mother in law bought for me, I’m having my first egg sandwich since having to go gluten free March 1st. And it is yummy!!
It's not an exclusive gluten free deli, but the owners go out of their way to cook some of the best tasting GF bread and cookies I have ever had! You really can't tell it's GF!! The service is super friendly and the prices are very reasonable!
We just moved here and tried this today. Best place we have had here so far. We will be back. And they deliver �

McKinleys is wonderful. They are known for their excellent ratings for cleanliness. The food never disappoints and is delicious! The staff is friendly and efficient .
Mckinley's is simply the best. A little hometown treasure. I would recommend this place to any and everyone!

Had lunch here yesterday. Great atmosphere. Great food. Great service. I will definitely visit again, hopefully on the day when they have roast beef and mashed potatoes & gravy....I've heard that is very good, too.

Very yummy and well priced!. In Shelbyville Ky. we do not have very many decent restaurants, McKinleys is one of my favorite places to eat. Not only do they make their own bread, have fresh ingredients and a home like atmosphere; they are reasonably priced as well!
Absolutely love this restaurant!! Excellent food. I highly recommend the broccoli cheese soup. And don't forget to add a one of their soft cookies to your meal. The owner and staff are all very hospitable and kind.

My wife and I stopped in on a Monday afternoon recently. We enjoyed the lunch food and the atmosphere was very homey. I felt like I had slowed down and take an a breathe of fresh air. The chess bars were out of this world. We spoke with Mrs McKinley when buying dessert to take with us. I love meeting the owners. We will be back.

Stopped in McKinley's today for lunch. Great atmosphere and the food was also great, but the real charm was Teresa and the other employees at this little sandwich shop. They were all so very kind and hospitable. The atmosphere is very welcoming. From lots of seating and being very clean, to the subtleties of the local event posters and large murals on the walls; I could sit this place for hours. To top it off, they have a model train that goes around the shop. I was in awe watching it go round the top of the room; who doesn't like model trains??? The employees were very friendly and helpful. They gave suggestions based on what I liked. While there many locals were in and out for lunch, or just to buy some bread to take home. It was pleasant to see the employees know so many customers on first name basis. I had a turkey and goat cheese panini with sun dried tomatoes. It was so good I almost ordered a second one to go. Everything in this place just oozed with homemade quality. I took a loaf of bread and a bowl of tomato bisque for dinner. I can't wait to try other places in Shelbyville, but this place really set the bar high. This small town sandwich shop will be a welcome detour on my many trips between Louisville and Lexington.
A Sandwich Delight!. Such a wonderful Shelbyville tradition and the food is excellent. Fresh homemade breads and deserts, and owners that know your name. Can't go wrong here!

Great Deli for Lunch. When you come in you directly smell the fresh baked bread. Friendly service at the counter where you order your sandwich. Variety is there to choose from. Good cheese, fine hams. My favorite is the turkey with cranberry jelly. Comes with chips and a pickle and your choice of drinks. The sweet tea is great. There are about 10 tables, surrounded by murals of landscapes and a scale model train, running through the shop above you.
You can come here for lunch and there is a bread shop as well. I wish they were not closed on Sundays.
