Was stuck in Shelbyville for 24 hours and asked several locals where to go for Mexican and this place was mentioned almost exclusively.
Went for lunch and kept it simple and ordered the chimichanga platter from the lunch menu. At only $7.99 I wasn't expecting much.
But what I got was very fast service, drink ,chips, salsa and a hot platter shortly after with my food done very well.
They nailed everything from the rice, delicious and fluffy, the beans rich and flavorful. Sauce was good, chimichanga done very well and pico was excellent and I should of ordered more on the side.
I decided I will return here again tonight for supper as lunch only cost $11.08 which includes a large Pepsi, the meal plus chips and salsa and taxes included.
Great food, good sized portions, and fast service.
Service is great they get your order really quickly, and the servers are hilarious and they love joking around with the regulars! Telling jokes and doing the old "your shoes untied" trick. Very nice and family friendly place! I recommend getting the cheese sauce with your chips its yummy!
I had a tea bone steak it was very tender and good fries
The service is is wonderful and the food has great flavor! Even with them being short staffed they make it work and make sure the customers needs are met
