Review Arooga's - Shippensburg

Great food and cold beer. Restaurant has a great layout with lots of seating. Nice big bar separated from the dining areas. Wings were very good and have all of the usual aroogas ordering options which are a big bonus. Service was great on a Friday evening. Soft pretzel appetizer and burgers were excellent as well.

The wings were absolutely delightful. Super helpful and friendly staff, our waiter was extremely attentive and courteous.

The only complaint I have is I wish the AC worked in all of the rooms. The fries were good & the red sangria's were delicious. I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, which was also very good. I tasted the everything wings, and I'd pass on them next time. They were very salty.

Always delicious, I normally order online and the food is always ready on time and fresh. Best fish tacos!!

Good hamburger. Very friendly and polite staff. Prices are reasonable. Menu somewhat between sports bar and restaurant. Same for atmosphere. Glad we went at the recommendation of some local residents.

I have to say I am throughly disappointed with this place, based on where it was located I thought I was in for good food being that it looked like a mom and pop spot. The cheesesteak was the worst I ever had, the meet was dry and the customer service, it had no may, Lettuce, no tomatoes, no grease nothing but dry meat on a soggy bun it honestly tasted like it was just thrown in the microwave. The fries had no crunch and was so soggy it was pathetic. The seafood nachos where served cold but once heated up it was actually quite delicious. I sadly do not recommend this place

I came here around 1 pm for lunch. There were about three other tables of customers. We all had the same server. She was very nice but seemed new as she had to come back and ask a few times what we ordered. I was also disappointed a beer made for their restaurant was not available. I got the Arooga boli and it was okay. It was about $15 but not very large and it seemed overcooked and the meats were burnt. The clam chowder was average. Not too chewy. The garlic parm boneless wings were CAKED in sauce. There was literally a moat of sauce underneath the wings.

Have been coming here for awhile as it is one of the few places in Shippensburg with decent food. Will not be coming back for a long time!!! Ordered takeout and it took over an hour and a half of waiting standing at the counter for my food. Sad to see a once good place to grub at leave such a sour taste in my mouth and when me and my girlfriend finally did receive our food the portioning seemed smaller than usual. No apologies, no waive, no anything just placed our food on the counter and walked away back into the kitchen. Sure busy night but two hours of waiting watching people come in after us receive their food first??? Cmon now..Would’ve much rather went to the store and made my own food than wasting two hours total between driving, waiting, and listening to drunk college girls partying all night. Very disappointed Aroogas… will not be back and am taking my business elsewhere
