This is our place! The food is excellent, the chefs are top notch and the servers are courteous and friendly! We love our weekly visit to Shogun!
The place looks awesome since they finished the renovation! The service is much better, and the food was upgraded. We loved it before, and now we hope they never close again!
We went to celebrate my daughters birthday and all who were with us really enjoyed it. The chef was very entertaining and the food was excellent. We will be back!

Not as good as the bossier one but the sushi chef is way sweeter and makes better sushi. The hibachi experience is different because they have their own style here. Service was not their strong suit. I prefer bossier

Worst Experience Ever. I have never left a restaurant and felt like I have been robbed. Shogun changed that today. I was picking up a to-go order. Simple enough! Upon arriving I was directed to the bar to pay and pick up my food. Wow! My shoes were sticking to the carpet. How disgusting?!? Cleanliness is not a priority at this restaurant. The bartender (the owner) tells me my total. I have eaten here before because my wife likes this place. Never again! The owner tries to overcharge me. I tell her my order and she just throws out a random number. I give her a crazy look because I know the total and it was $10 more than it was supposed to be so she calculates my bill and gives me my new total. Let me add that she figured my bill on a calculator not the register. Tax evasion? She claimed that she was busy. Good excuse. I ordered extra fried rice but I didn't receive it. I checked my order at the bar and inquiried about it. She stated that it was with my entree. I was shocked and juat left hoping she was correct. She wasn't. The owner has no concern for customer satisfaction. She couldn't be bothered to check my order for accuracy instead fed me a line of lies but she made sure to charge me for it. While at the bar I saw the smallest glass of wine poured in my life so beware because they aren't just screwing me this is obviously company policy. The food was nothing spectacular and the experience with the owner was inexcusable so needless to say I will not be back.
There were 13 of us eating here for a birthday celebration. The food was really good and we all enjoyed the show as well. Our waiters were very attentive, no problems getting drink refills or plates cleared out of the way. I certainly have no complaints. It is a little on the expensive side but definitely a fun experience! We'll be back for sure.
On a 5 star rating, we would give Shogun 3 stars. Great sushi. The server didn't know what a Kirin beer was and offered "Itchiban" ... which was the Kirin. Filet mignon done perfectly on the grill, but the fried rice left much to be desired.
Great sushi bar. We love the sushi bar. The Sushi chef is fantastic and has a great personality. He makes us feel like we are walking into Cheers. I love ordering off the special menu. It's always creative and delicious. The waiter was a bit slow, but tolerable given that they are child-friendly and the sushi is so good.
The food here sets the bar for all others, buuuut the service is so bad that we never go unless friends that used to live here come back in town. After waiting 20 minutes without refills or the check, "ohhhh" comes out their mouth followed by " you were right"
This was our first time going to Shogun. Our chef name was Big John and he was awesome. I wish I knew our waitress name but she was wonderful as well. Food and drinks were excellent and well worth it you definitely get your money worth
First time coming here last night and everything was amazing!! Only took us about 10 minutes to be seated. A server named Amanda and a bunch of other staff kept gave us a warn welcome and kept us entertained while we waited. The chef was lively and funny and our food came quick!! Wonderful experience for a first time. Me and my date are so glad we came here for dinner. And it goes without saying the food was amazing!! We will definitely be coming back!

Overall I was very pleased with the chef and the food. It was great. My tuna/avacado app was worth the try. The service was just ok and there was a lot longer wait then expected. I had the steak and fried rice, and it was delicious. Overall pretty good experience. I did not try the sushi but the hibachi was really fun. I would recommend for kids as well. Ps..got the most memorable fortune cookie of my life.
Another first visit. We looked @ the menu & noticed they were nearby so we decided to try them for my daughter's birthday. What a great choice! The plating was Micheline star quality & the food was just as good. I recommend the rolls but honestly, you can't go wrong.
Great food. The fried rice was on point. Steak cooked right, chicken and sushi good. We did order gyoza and didn't get it, but we had enough food and it didn't make it to the bill, so I didn't have heartburn with it. The chef was courteous & talented.
It was my first time trying Shogun a couple of weeks ago for a friends birthday. The atmosphere was nice, and we were seated quickly, but it literally took 30 minutes-1 hour before our food (hibachi) was prepared. However, I understand things happen and they may have been short staffed that night. The food was good so I will definitely try it again soon.
