Awesome Southern cooking. Reminds you of home. A great place for a familiarity where the waitress know you by name. It is a must eat place in the city.
In all honesty for this being southern it wasn’t good in my opinion. I was so excited hoping it would be authentic tasting but It just didn’t satisfy that southern food craving I had. I am from Dallas and have tasted better there. Too bad maybe I’ll have better luck next time passing through🤷🏽♀️.
The place had the feel of an old diner from the 50's and 60's. The breakfast was good and the service was speedy. It wouldn't hurt if they opened a little earlier for breakfast. Most people are at work by the time breakfast is served.
Great prices, friendly service but the main reason you go to a restaurant is for the food. Family members told me they had really good food especially the vegetables. So I got their vegetable plate. I found the food to only be so so, not great but also not horrible.

They NEVER answer the phone and once I came there Thursday July 15,2021. I went there she asked me for my order 4 times after I told her numerous of times. I also called and the call was placed on hold and tried to call back. No answer. I am a lawyer and work early in the morning. I can not wait in
GREAT Beef Tips and Rice. We had a Carryout Order of Pork Chops , Rice Gravy, Blk Eye Peas and Trump's Greens. Corn Bread. On Jewella Rd. Got it cause it wasn't Beef Tips Day. Been there 4Xs . Leave with no BT's. Wasn't too happy with Chops and Corn Bread. But Veg's was Kicking. I like the One
