Our Jeep group of 37 people dined there on our Cooks Forest outing. We were seated right away after calling ahead so they could accommodate our large group.
The service was fast and excellent. The food was amazing. We had a great dining experience there, will definitely go back.
Things have changed over the years. You have to pay to go in. You enter/exit through a gift shop. Some of the animals don't have hardly any shade. The new buildings are nice. The employees are friendly. The ice cream is still very tasty. Needs to improve on some of the animal areas.
This restaurants food is the best I have had around the area! The food portions are alot compared to other places. Even with whats going on they had ample space for tables. Delicious as always! The apple dumplings are great, and breakfast was wonderful. Would definitely recommend for dessert or breakfast while camping in the surrounding area-- we usually come from Clear Creek. And the bulk goods store is always fun to peruse as well. :)

This is a must stop if you're traveling in or through the area! The zoo is awesome, with tons of different animals like a zebra, leopard, bears, anteaters and so much more! The gift shop has tons of cool items to purchase. A great place to take the kids, there's also ice cream and food! I'm so glad
The food is great and the service is way better than anywhere in the area. We have eaten there a couple times and it is so nice inside and very nice waitresses and love the activities for the kids.
