If you’re looking for delicious simple food, this is your place they have sandwiches they have dinner plates. They have matzoh ball, soup and other soups and it’s great. The staff is very friendly. The management is kind. I highly recommend getting the matzoh ball soup don’t think twice just get the matzoh ball soup.

Loved this place so much we went back twice during our week stay. Everything that was supposed to be crispy was crispy. Everything that was suppose to be moist was moist. All of it had good color. The prices were reasonable. The staff was attentive and just wanted you to have a good time. It was a bit weird walking through the front store area to find a restaurant but also made us feel like we found a hidden gem. Wish we would have known about the outside patio. We are not from the area but if we ever come back we will visit again.

Parkway Deli is a lovely community space with great wine and beer options, a bakery, and a sit down restaurant area. When you enter, expect a maze-like line looping around that can get confusing. You will sit at a nicely packed place with booths and paintings and decor celebrating the Jewish heritage of many in the local community. The neighborhood is beautiful and suburban, stunning in the fall, surrounded by an elementary school and not too far from Shalom Temple and Rock Creek Park. My food was ok. I enjoyed the hash brown omelette, which had a pleasant crunch from the bacon and hash browns. Once I got to the cheese, I was even happier. They also have a pickle bar with pickles, slaw, and banana peppers. The toasted sesame bagel tasted a little stale, though. I want to go back and have the desserts, which looked very promising!

We were visiting the area and luckily happened on Parkway Deli at lunchtime. The pickle bar was FANTASTIC. We had Reubens that were delicious. We went back 3 days later for blitzes and soup. So yummy!

I didn't know there was a restaurant inside, I thought was just a deli, and a beer store. now we can even got beer in the restaurant, good selection of micro Brewerys by the way. my friend got a burger, he said was great, I haven't had a reuben sandwich in years and this was my opportunity but I got the spicy version, really good! I think the freshness of the products makes them a great selection, not sandwiches like subway or similar places. and if u like pickles... they have a complimentary pickle bar if I eat inside. definitely a place 2 come back with friends and family!

Parkway deli DOES NOT MISS! The GOAT Reuben in the DC area. Also great French Fries and Matzah Ball Soup. Amazing service too. Just one of the best spots in the area.

Amazing! Ate outside on the back deck of the restaurant. The servers are so helpful and patient. Great service. The smoked fish platter was shared and there was more than enough lox and white fish for two people. The latke and blintzes are also great. I wish I had a reason to be in Silver Spring more often.

This spot has everything you want in a classic NY-style deli: busy-body waitstaff, old ladies complaining that there’s a draft, and good, hearty Jewish comfort food. It’s a charming, no-frills eatery with comfy booths that gets busy during brunch time.

Yum yum. My and first and favorite deli. Chopped liver and stuffed cabbage, can’t beat it. My first liver plate and it was delicious.

The food and atmosphere here are always fantastic! We traveled from Ga and I had to take my family to visit this local icon. There’s something on the menu for everyone!
