Love the vegan pupusas and the vibe in here. There’s also a little market in here to buy salvadorean goods. It’s such a great place to chill with friends and enjoy amazing food.

This place came highly recommended from a friend who frequents this establishment. I ordered the camarones ala plancha and the tamarind drink. The food was delicious. The veggies were fresh and not overcooked. The tamarind drink was quite refreshing and took me down memory lane to my days of eating tamarind balls.

Fun little place for a weekend breakfast — soccer is playing on TV, families are chilling together having breakfast, and it’s a cozy little atmosphere inside. Nothing fancy or gourmet, but more so comfort food if that’s more your speed.

Delicious and authentic. Came on a Sunday late afternoon and the place was packed and take out was continuous. Service slow. Place dirty but must have been hard to keep up with so many people.

A dedicated Plant Based menu? Yes please! And it’s delicious? Hellz yeah! We had the Enchiladas Tradicionales and Chorys-Salvi. We will be coming back for more!

Holy Pupusas! So this place had very very good pupusas. I also tried the in house fruit salad juice and that was very tasty, authentic and refreshing. The tamal de elote was also very good, especially with the side of cream. The menu prices were decent. I also ordered the empanada de platano. That was the icing on the cake and the perfect of way to end the meal on a savory note. Most of the folks there were eating soups so I want to go back and try that. The seating was tight and set up as cafeteria seating. There was also very low lighting. The only drawback is that the parking situation is horrendous. The closest intersection doesn’t have a crosswalk and piney branch is a very busy road. I don’t know if risking my life is worth eating there. Considering parking and ordering Uber eats.

I found best pupusas! There is such a nice experience to taste it. My favourite are with spinach&cheese, chicken and red beans. There are also wide variety of smoothies. The service is great! Food is very tasty!

This place was great authentic Salvation food. I got 3 pupusas; a loroco blossoms, pork and cheese and a crab. Everything was made fresh. I like that they have a variety of them to choose from. I haven't seen crab pupusas anywhere else. The dining area is spacious. You order at the counter and they bring it to you. The fried fish and chicurrone pork looks good. I will be back to try those items.

Chefs kiss to this location. This place has upgraded in all the positive ways I have seen. I ordered the desayuno típico if I can remember there is 4 different kinds. I picked the last one had my eggs scrambled with the veggies, you are able to pick out how you want your egg. My sister got hers with the yolk inside and they gave her salsa de tomate on top which is smashed seasoned tomatoes very delicious. Again you can request what to have and not have on your dish they are very good with exchanging things on your plate. There are many other options to choose but we went for breakfast so it was worth the morning. I know this place can get packed I believe on weekends so if you have time through out the week go for it. Do mind that parking is very limited not too many spots for parking and layout is a bit awkward getting in so be aware that you may have to look for street parking and walk to the destination. Also the price was very reasonable I got extra side dishes but altogether spending on myself and my sister our breakfast was around 27 dollars super worth the cost I’m always down for good food at low costs.

Food was really good and authentic to the Salvadorean cuisine. A big plus that it is cheap. You can also buy fresh produce and other pantry stuff.

Pollo con queso was good. That’s all I ever get from here. They have a full menu of El Salvadoran food and groceries. I will try something new next time I’m in the area. This place can actually be called a pupuseria they have allot of flavors, allot of places would be called pupuseria and have 3 flavors. Parking is hard to find.

A hidden gem in Silver Spring/Takoma Park. This is the best location of the chain. A family friendly restaurant with plenty of seating and a little market. The food here is amazing and ON POINT. They have great frescas, smoothies and horchata. Favorites include... Sopa de Mariscos Sopa de Res Pupusa Vege Mixta Shrimp/Carne Asada Taco Salad All the pupusas are delicious and fresh. You can tell they are made to order. Next time around, I'm trying the tamales. They looked amazing. Prices are so reasonable! Service is good. The food takes forever so don't walk in hangry. But the wait is well worth it because everything comes out piping hot, fresh and always delicious. This location is the best in my opinion compared to the others.

This is by far the most authentic Hispanic food you can find. Being Latino this is a home away from home. If your looking for amazing food you have to stop by La Casita. Not only is it an amazing restaurant but it's also a mini market where you can find all types of authentic Latin snacks and groceries. I will definitely be back to try more items on the menu!
