Disregard this guy "mike" , he absolutely has no idea what he is talking about. The CHICKEN here is amazing !! It's fried and sliced up and it taste great ! subway doesn't even compare to this deli, mike your a joke ! Learn to order right , learn to actually try the items and then you may have your mouth so full you won't have anything to say :) EVERYTHING HERE IS AMAZING ! I absolutely love the employees and they will do anything to help ya out .

Family owned and operated !!!. Santucci's has survived thru decades of change in the "downtown " silver spring area! It"s the real deal! My family and friends and co-workers alike - trust santuccis for a super fresh Italian meal! Try it! You will like it ! Frozen and freshly prepared meals and pastas to go as well!

YUM. Love Santucci's...the pizza is really good and the cheesesteak, turkey, and meatball subs are excellent. Why go to Subway and get some weird processed meat when you can come here for the real thing? Also, the sub rolls are fabulous...you can't have a good sub without a great roll.

Santucci's Italian Hoagie 3.5 out of 5 Stars. If you're looking for a real Italian hoagie, you could do much worse than Santucci's. This is not the best Italian hoagie I've ever had, but it still stands head and shoulders above any of the big chains like Quiznos, Subway or Potbelly. They use real Italian rolls, which is a huge plus, but I found the cold cuts to be kind of bland.
The Italian hoagie is my benchmark at this time for sandwich joints, and while my review is not exactly glowing, I would recommend this place, and I am considering returning to try other things on their menu, because they are definitely moving in the right direction.
So yes...go and check it out. I'm originally from Jersey, so I'm picky about my hoagies and tough to please.

Turkey Sub. I go in here most weekends and get a turkey sub. It's consistently good and the staff is very friendly. I've also had their meatball sub and it was also really good.

Awesome On Many Levels..... It's hard to find a REAL neighborhood deli that serves up the deliciouness of Santucci's. The fridge of take-home entrees, sauces and Itaian delights is awesome. The subs are always SO consistenly good. The staff there seals the deal - especially the young guy who I believe is the manager. He is super professional, friendly and welcoming. Love that place.

Best Reuben's ever!. Santucci's has the best Reuben subs ever! They are perfect! Everyone in my family loves them! We also really enjoy their meatball subs and their chicken caesar salads.

It's small and community orientated. We've always had friendly service. They remember us and ask about the kids if we come in without them.

As my 12 yo daughter says "Santucci's rocks!" :)

First off, it differs from the likes of Subway be being an actual deli. Yes, you can get all sorts of sandwiches and sides, but also an order of fresh, sliced meat so you can assemble your own artisan sandwiches at home.

Tucked away inside a strip mall that's been around for decades is a 32-year-old family-owned Italian deli that is everything you'd expect a worthy deli to be- a ceiling fan spinning, chips on shelves, boxes in the corner and letters falling off menu boards. It's perfect. After picking up Friday night takeout for friends at Santucci's Deli, here's my experience: 1) Food: Open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., they sell a variety of sandwiches that come in 10 inch or foot-long subs. 21 different subs are on the menu and they come on soft rolls, but you can request a hard roll or wheat for an upcharge. The Italian cold cut was excellent and the creamy Italian herb dressing made it stick out from other cold cuts. They also sell sandwiches, pizzas, and prepared dinners and other Italian products. 2) Drinks: They have a wall of cold drinks from water to tons of sodas. 3) Service: It's friendly and quick. I called a few hours ahead of my pick up time to place an order. Paying when I arrived, my sandwiches were ready! 4) Space: It's small, but they make good use of space. It's no-frills, but is it a classic deli if it wasn't? 5) Neighborhood: It's in a strip mall that's been around for awhile with other shops, including Woodmore Pastry Shop with popular doughnuts. There's a parking lot in front of Santucci's.

We went in during a very busy time, lunch on a Saturday. We ordered an Italian hoagie for my son. It was well made and he said that it was delicious. It was packed with meats and had a good ratio of toppings to the meat and bread.

1 of the Best Cold Cut subs in Maryland! Actually, everything is great, but I make the trip for their ColdCut Subs! Everytime I'm in the 4 Corners area, I have to grab a sub at Santucci's!

Will Rogers once said "I've never met a man I didn't like". I will say "I've never eaten a Santucci's sammie that I didn't like". Several years ago I found this place accidentally while heading out of town. I bought one sub to hold me and three buddies over for a road trip. We regretted that I hadn't gotten more. Their pizza is amazing too. My wife doesn't eat a lot of ground beef, but once when we shared a meatball sub she made me order one to bring home. All the people working there are very chill and friendly. Their location is also convenient with the other stores and barber shop close by. Any time I stop there I can also get a hair cut, bread from the bakery and stuff from the market, Four birds with one stone. In today's crazy world, it's always nice to get grub from a place that isn't an ever-growing chain where people don't feel like sheep getting microchipped on the ear. It's really the only Italian deli I go to. Not trying to be funny, but when our dog sees that I've brought Santucci's home with me, his mouth begins to bubble up, and of course I have to share it with him, the spoiled boy that he is. My only problem is that they don't play any Celtics games on their TV.

So. Good. Literally everything about the place is great. It's nostalgic and casual while it absolutely delivers on great food. I want to try their breakfast at some point. Will try and get a photo before I inhale my sandwich next time.

The environment is exactly what it's supposed to be and the food is exceptional. Their bread, meats, and cheeses are as authentic as any place in Philly or on the Jersey Shore.

Santucci’s is a local favorite for all your needs. And possibly the best steak and cheese in the city. Get it all the way with extra hot peppers. Parking in the back. Thank me later!

I've been coming here for over 25 years and nothing has changed. They are as excellent as I remember growing up. Thank you guys for being awesome and consistent for so many decades.

It's what you would call a "hole in the wall" but they make awesome sandwiches and the fries are good also. Just make sure you ask if someone is on line.

October 2024 update: The meatball sub still rocks... This is one of those places that you go to get the one thing that they do better than everybody else in town and at santucci's that's a meatball sub. Don't get me wrong, everything else is good but this is where you go to get a meatball sub. Period.

Love this place. I've never brought home a bad steak & cheese. Make sure to get double meat, double cheese and extra, extra tomatoes. Half to eat now and the other half at 3am when you hear it calling you. Thanks for the great subs and pleasant service over the years.
