Had coffee at Peet's this morning. I always love the atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff and of course the delicious beverages! The manager is awesome! And such a beautiful day for outdoors.
Probably one of the most striking aspects of the venue is its abundant seating....you get a row of 15 along the perimeter with a view, room for over 40 on the patio, a large table for 10 inside, a couple of comfy chairs, and over 12 tables for couples.
The friendly and attentive servers still take pride in their brew and make you feel welcome. They brew the best coffee for coffee lovers in downtown Silver Spring.
Looked clean and clear labels for social distance. The gentleman who assisted me seemed knowledgeable when it came to what kind of grounds we would need. Very kind and respectful staff.
I always love stopping by this place for a quick coffee run during the workday or on the weekends. As some of the other reviews mention, the staff is truly what makes this place. Mark is one of the most personable and kind people I've ever met and works hard to bring joy to all of his customers. After all of the challenges we've collectively faced with the pandemic, it is great to start your day with someone like Mark who makes you feel valued and brings a smile to your face.
Interesting menu and the best coffee in the DMV area by far! Cafes are always beautiful and clean and coffee is always delicious
Bacon and Cheddar on brioche is delicious, aswell as, orange and cranberry scones. very nice and attentive staff and extremely convenient ...close to my house. Pleasantly suprised by this coffee shop being Ive never heard of it prior to moving close by. My son and I love this place and Highly recommend.
Today was my first time at Peet’s coffee store(Silver Spring). I am writing to thank the entire staff at this location. From the person who took my order, to the person who made my coffees to the person who greeted me on my way out. Today was one of the many difficult days as I had been up since 3am because of my infant. The entire staffs service just warmed my heart. The lady who took my order( I wish I knew her name) asked me if I had the app and she said the brightest thank you when I added a tip to the order. This encounter at the store has warmed my heart more than I can even express in words. Thank you to the entire staff at this location.
The staff here are absolutely wonderful! I had an amazing experience, some of the most kind and friendly people, not to mention my drinks were great every time! Great spot to sit and enjoy your coffee, inside or out.
I love Peet's. Great coffee and even better service. I am upset that the Silver Spring location is closing permanently. The other locations in the DC metro area are too far and therefore I will no longer partake in Peet's. Shame on corporate to allow the lease to end.

Very good coffee, outdoor seating, and also chairs available inside. Sandwiches are available along with different types of coffee. Good customer service and helpful employees. Unless going to a Starbucks Reserve store, Peet's Coffee is a good place to work while also having a nice coffee shop vibe.
The best Coffee Franchise there is. Great appreciation for the customer service at this particular location. Everyone is happy to take your order and always projecting the positive attitude we need to start our days off. My Barista, Mike, is the absolute GOAT. Makes my coffee with "a latte love"! He runs this location very superbly with great skill & knowledge of all Peets products & honestly needs his own store to run :)))))
They have totally plant-based breakfast items!!! I was super hype. I had the everything breakfast sandwich and it was very satisfying. I also had the vanilla honey latte, which was also good.
The tables in and out-doors were clean and the environment was good to read in.
The staff is always so kind and patient. The manager is really really amazing and makes a point to enforce safe covid practices. The manager is often seen helping out his staff, cleaning up the place, and personally welcoming guests and wishing them well. I love supporting this place. Oh and the coffee and pastries are amazing as well

4 stars because there’s this new guy with a bit too much sass in place of the enthusiasm I’ve typically experienced from employees in this establishment.
Ordered bacon cheddar brioche— bacon was undercooked which isn’t usual here and when it is, it’s usually a quick fix. Said something and the gentleman in reference (currently stocking) got irritated with me before offering to put it back in the oven. I I also had a plant based sandwich in my order— which was left in the oven for quite some time but of course the same gentleman begins searching for who ordered it and I attempted to claim it. This guy pulled the sandwich to his chest and was like “PLANT based” 😐. I said “right. It’s mine.” Then he acted like I was the one that caught the attitude lol.
Again, OVERALL exceptional service and exceptional offerings. I’ll chalk this up to a momentary lapse in Peet’s standard of service.
1st time customer. Got there at 6AM open time & the doors were locked. When they finally opened I told the girl good morning & did not receive a greeting in response, I received no response instead. The drink was on point so that saved the rating. Opening on time & greeting your customers goes a long way.

I've lived in Silver Spring for 7 years and have been coming to Peet's ever since. I believe it opened right around the same time! The staff are always 100% and management, like Marc, are superb. This morning, I picked up a drink that my Door Dasher forgot and Marc went above and beyond to make me feel valued. And my drinks are always on point!
I love my cafe latte with whole milk, add whipped cream and 2 little bags of raw sugar. Taste like hot Vietnamese coffee with a hint of hearted roast coffee aftertaste. And they always make it right. And also their hot chamomile tea is so fresh and makes me feel good in the morning. They have indoor and a lot of outdoor seating to enjoy the drinks, working or sunbathing, it is difficult to choose.
