This place was like a step back in time and very nostalgic. Loved that the interior has kept the original decor. It was very clean and well kept. We had the crab cocktail, fried crab cakes and seafood bisque. They all tasted good. Staff was very friendly and attentive.
10 stars. It's been 20 years since I last visited, I no longer live in the area.

This is a diamond in the rough. This Silver Spring, MD, landmark has stood the test of time. Fresh oysters, Norfolk style crab bake. Tartar sauce is super tasty. Cole slaw was great. Fries dipped in the cocktail sauce were fabulous. Wonderful.

Seafood is still great and been around since 1945. I have been frequenting this place for over 30 years. I was disappointed when more than 2 years into COVID-19 pandemic that they still weren't open for dine-in service. Glad they are fully operational now. FYI to faithful customers, now a 20% gratui
Came highly recommended and exceeded expectations. The Baked Stuffed Shrimp was amazing!!..gonna come back next weekend for Stuffed Flounder before I leave town.

Pretty good. The crabcakes had a weird taste to them. But the carb topped rockfish was tasty without that weird seasoning they put in the carb cake. Can not ever go wrong with carb Norfolk any where. Plus the soft shell carbs were good. Just would not ever get the carb cakes from here.
