We had a great experience at Gisele's recently. My wife and I had a goat and kreyol chicken dish and both were excellent. I visited Haiti a few times over the years and this brought back memories even the Prestige Beer. Next time I will try the Ti' Punch. I loved the Haitian artwork on the walls
As a Haitian American, I know good haitian food and recently had the pleasure of dining at Gisele's Creole Cuisine and I must say, their Haitian food is absolutely fantastic.
The star of the show for me was the fried red snapper, which was cooked to perfection. The fish was tender and flavorful, an
Little paradise. So decided to come try this place for a date and let's just say I do not regret it. The lady helping us was very courteous and nice and the food ... GOSH the food ... was delicious. That mushroom rice hinting at flavor and the juicy fried goat meat I got was just wonderful. My date
The food was pretty good. I traveled over 30mins to come get some Haitian food because I was feeling home sick. My only issue is that I waited over an hour and a half. Google said they opened at 12 but they didn't actually open till 1. Then I waited 30mins for my food to be prepared. They didn't hav
Came from Jersey and found this place on Google. Best decision I ever made. Great atmosphere, parking in front, beautiful dine in experience. Great food, excellent service. Price was average, not cheap nor expensive compare to other restaurants. Keep up the good work guys! 👏
I drove from Virginia to Maryland for some good old Haitian food. I loved it! The atmosphere and the people are awesome! However, The only thing missing for me is Grio. I understand it's a religious reason for not including it in the menu, but if anyone is starving for some Grio, go somewhere else.
Nicole is a great waitress. My first time at Gisèle was great. Close to Wheaton station. Easy access. Food was great. Service was quick. That Rhum Punch knocked me out. Haiti chéri. Bon bagay
The cultural experiences starting with food of many worldly nations are hard to come by; We therefore, must appreciate the work and efforts of individuals and families making it possible for each of us to share such unique experiences with friends, family, and connections. If you are seeking spicef
Whenever we travel to DC we always have to make a stop in Maryland for some good Haitian food. The last time we were here I had the fried turkey and it changed my life lol I don’t want turkey any other way now. It was so good, juicy and well seasoned. Can’t wait until next time.
Food was awesome, first time trying Haitian food with my girlfriend and I am amazed. I can honestly say I will be trying many more different flavors in the near future. I had this spicy coleslaw that seemingly went with everything with just the spice I needed. WOW
GREAT food, overall culinary delights & ambience! ^_^
The only drawback to this venue is that the customer service needs some improvements. On a Sunday, during brunch hours, there were only two ladies & the kitchen staff working. No bueno. It gave very much “this IS a Caribbean restaurant: food will
My first Haitian restaurant in the DMV and I wasn't disappointed. Great staff, food was amazing with really good flavors! Phone died while there but did get to take pictures with the owners and staff. Next time I visit I'm def sharing a picture of my plate. Love this restaurant. Most of all... I did
I did not know what to expect when I entered Giselle's but I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food is here. I asked our waitress Junie to surprise me and I ended up with a delicious flavorful meal that I wouldn't have ordered on my own. The black mushroom rice and legume w
Great people, friendly staff and nice atmosphere! I love coming here either for lunch or for an evening outing. The food is very tasty and you’ll feel like you are at home. Parking is a bit tricky so you have to be patient. They also often invite band that play live music from time to time!
The food here is wonderful. I had Stew goat, Haitian black rice, some yummy red potato salad with beets, and some spicy pickled cabbage. Along with an excellent Haitian beer.
I wish I lived closer. They'd get tired of looking at me!đź¤
Cute restaurant space. The food was good with the rice being the star but the oxtail stew portions being small for the price charged. We had 3 different servers through the evening and only one was openly friendly and nice. It felt a bit like we were a nuisance by being there.
