I enjoyed visiting this restaurant for brunch with my partner. I was easily able to make a reservation online and arrived at the restaurant which had ample seating and a very calm ambiance. Our server was timely and effective in taking our orders and serving us our food. The honey butter biscuits are amazing. They are soft and buttery with a little bit of sweetness as well. Their cinnamon rolls are nice but the icing seemed a bit heavy on cream cheese or something that just made it taste a little too strong, but still good. I also ordered their crab cake eggs Benedict which was amazing and it's combination of flavors as well as how well prepared it was. I would definitely recommend this place for others to visit!

I went here for my birthday this past Saturday the 28th. I did brunch with my friends, and we had a great time. The atmosphere was so pretty. My food was 10/10. I had two Lemon Drops they was fire and we had shots. Our waiter Kamairon was also amazing.

Went for my sister's birthday and enjoyed myself. Staff was nice and courteous and the service was good. Try different things, while tasty could have used a little more of a kick to my taste.

Went for lunch on my sister's birthday and the place was amazing! We had brunch on a Monday and it did not disappoint. The Shrimp & grits were good but I loved the lump crab hash. Will definitely go again when in the area.

Nice place. The food was wonderful and our server was also great. The food portions are really large. The place is nicely setup with lots room for customers. They even have a bar area.

Went here for happy hour before Bebe Rexha at The Filmore! Not crowded at all for a Wednesday afternoon and the food was good. Had the sliders, chips and Guac, and a pizza. Yum!

Great spot to grab dinner & drinks. I had a beer and a burger. My gf had a pizza & a mixed drink. We shared and the food tasted great. They were busy due to the fact it was a Saturday and Brett Young was in town performing at the Filmore (2 blocks away). Laid back restaurant with a great vibe. The menu has something for everyone's taste buds. Great drink menu as well.

Love the swanky look and feel. The decor has a warm and inviting feel as soon as you walk in. Our waiter was quite the friendly chap although a tad forgetful. We missed out on the appetizer, but no worry it wasn't charged. Prices are steep. Caesar salad dressing tastes store bought, not in-house made with anchovies. These things matter. Tried the Seared Salmon from the Specials Menu. Salmon was only a tiny bit dry but the dressing from the cucumber salad really blended with it well. Try not to let them talk you into their Honeybee drink special unless you're a big tequila fan. It tasted just like honey and tequila. Arrived with a cute "bee" on top, which the waiter explained,"It's edible." It was. I forgot it was there and as it melted away on my lips and tongue, it made me think about an acid sticker from back in the day that I learned about in school to always stay away from. Bathrooms needed some love. If the restroom isn't clean -- well, never mind.

Matchbox in Silver Spring is also home to a Milk & Honey Pop-Up with "homestyle, comfort food" so we got some biscuits and I got the deep fried salmon hash and my friend got the crab hash 🦀 and to be honest, I won. The deep fried salmon slapped. I don't know why people don't fry salmon more cause that joint was great. The hash could have been a little crisper but was otherwise good. His crab hash was good but the crab flavor kinda got lost in there. Oh yeah the biscuits were good, but took forever to get some water so that wasn't fun but over a good meal, better company and I'd do that Salmon again.
