The room prices were fairly reasonable. The hotel provides a shuttle service to a railway stop, which was very convenient. It's only about a half hour from the capital, with very good options for food/entertainment nearby. The staff are all very friendly, and service has been very good. We were moved between rooms because of a computer error, but they moved our bags for us and gave us a complementary night. The rooms were very clean, pretty standard, and what you would expect from a hotel of this caliber. There's a pool on the lower level, it's a pretty decent size. The breakfast was pretty good, too. 5/5 for value, location, and quality.

This was our first hotel stay in over a year since the beginning of covid-19. The accommodations at this Homewood Suites was very satisfying. Our room was clean and comfortable. The "grab 'n go bags" were necessary given the current pandemic conditions. We felt entirely safe during our 5-night stay here. The off-site parking was not too inconvenient. Driving to the front of the hotel to unload could be problematic because limited or no parking space.

Day 1: Had a late arrival to the hotel. Got to the room and it was unbearably warm. Cranked the A/C and eventually (after a couple of hours) the room did get colder. There is a ceiling fan, but the remote control has no batteries, so it's useless. There is only one hanger in the closet, no iron or ironing board. There is a light bulb missing from the bedside lamp. There is no trash bin in the bathroom. Wifi, fridge, microwave seem to be working fine. Still have 5 more days to go.. I will update the review as I go. Day 2: I walked in today to find hangers, a fully functional fan/remote control, iron/ironing board. I also took a light bulb from another lamp and used it on the side table lamp. So all in all, a much pleasant experience.

I stayed at the Homewood Suites Downtown at a very busy time, but they were still very accommodating. There was still construction next door, but there was no noise at night. The breakfast and room were pretty standard for a Homewood. The furniture was fine but perhaps a little dated. But the pillows were nice! The social hour was quite nice and regularly had some sort of salad as well as whatever the theme for the evening was. I also found all of the staff to be quite helpful.

Room was ok if strangely laid out (L-shaped). It was comfortable, quite and clean though and was just what I needed after a long trip. The breakfast was a buffet and was good. The front desk staff were very helpful and made additional arrangements for my group beyond their role which made alot easier. The only thing that I would fault the place for was a lack of restaurant as I had to go across the busy road in front of the hotel to another hotel to get to a restaurant...

Even though the hotel is being remodeled inside it still looks good, I was upgraded to a recently renovated room and then look very good and the mini kitchen look exactly like it was supposed to look brand new the bedroom was clean and look brand new. Customer service was excellent and outstanding. Given the opportunity to stay at this hotel I would do it again if need be and I would also recommend it to another person.

Stayed in a suite for a few days & couldn't have been happier with the service and all that was available at the hotel. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, the staff was very accommodating & the room was very clean & included a small kitchen area. Would definitely stay here again!

My stay has been very relaxing. This hotel has great employees. They are very professional and provide excellent service. My room is comfy and clean. I really like the idea of this dual branded Homewood Suites hotel with Hampton Inn. The valet parking is convenient and efficient. This hotel is close to shopping, movies and a variety of dining. I definitely recommend this location even if you have an event in DC where you'll pay approximately $50 per night for overnight parking rather than $20 per night here which is very reasonable.

Clean, comfortable room with extremely comfortable bed and overhead ceiling fan. The room air conditioner worked quietly and efficiently. The Hotel is centrally located in the downtown Silver Spring area close to movie theater, restaurants, shopping, public transit, and the Fillmore concert venue. Hotel front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. Complimentary breakfast served in a 1st floor meeting area accessible using your room's keycard. Very nice experience overall.

This hotel is quiet and very nice. The front desk staff were all super helpful. The hotel is clean and the rooms are as well. This hotel is also walking distance from many places to eat, shopping and a Dave and Busters for some fun

Great location, decent breakfast included, as well as snack/drink in the late afternoon. We were not able to take advantage of that. After checkout, I noticed we were overcharged for 2 of 6 nights. A simple call back resolved the issue and a credit was issued ASAP. Great access to Metro. Will likely stay there again when in the area.

The check-in staff was friendly and helpful - fully answering our questions. The room was large and the bed comfortable. There was a table and lamp on only one side of the bed that made reading impossible on the opposite side with no where to put my glasses or phone. The breakfast was mediocre with the standard lukewarm fare.
