This place saved us. We were rained out of kids event and needed food. Krazy Steve’s is a pizza, bbq, Mac and cheese, salad, and other Americans type food place. It seats about 50 people in some classic style booths and tables. I bet you could pull off a medium size after game or birthday celebration. This is a place you need to check out. It is the best eatery in the Seminary/Forest glen area. It was Wednesday and they have a very good deal on done-in pizza so that’s what we did. A regular large for around $18 and a second large for $4 more. We got the thin crust version (really good not too thin with a crisp bottom and a thick enough outer crust that it’s chewy) and a deep-dish (not crazy deep and very tasty). We also got these deep fried balls of Mac and cheese that were crispy like tater tots but gooey inside. Very good. Overall the pizza was amazing. I really got the impression the ingredients where very high quality. It brought me back to the pizza places when I was a kid. We also got a pitcher of beer. Good price $13 for domestic and more for micro/imports. My kids were excited that they had FREE cookies and cream soft serve ice cream that was yummy and rich. This place has it covered. The staff were very friendly. I feel like dining there is really supporting a good restaurant. Right now the place isn’t overly busy so it is a good time to check it out.

I like to go in late, just before they close, its always nice to see the owner of a place hard at work, and Steve is no exception. A very welcoming restaurant with a staff that is eager to please. Last time I went I had the MacAttack with brisket and spicy sauce. It was great, a true comfort food. After I got some frozen custard which was exceptional. Lots of beer choices on tap for this kind of place. I would certainly recommend for anyone looking for that backyard BBQ taste. The first time I went I got a super sampler of different stuff. It was all good!!

Pizza, brisket sandwich and fries were on point! Wings could be better but Steve was wonderful and the place is a great experience non the less. Worth going back, the BBQ was amazingly good.

First visit here, ordered take out. Online ordering experience was good, easy and clear, of note was items that weren't available were grayed out and couldn't be selected. Cuts down on confusion. Ordered a sampler of 3 meats, Mac and cheese, with chili beans. BBQ meats had distinct smoke flavor you would expect, sauce was on the side. You have the option on multiple styles of sauces. Only criticism there is, not enough sauce for the amount of meat. Portion was good size, wife and I split the platter and were satisfied. This is stick to your ribs food. Mac and cheese was okay, chili had good spiciness. As is common with the "order will be ready" estimates of online ordering systems, they are not accurate, but given it was Friday night, we stayed to the time given. Food was warm enough but was probably ready before we got there, not their fault. Overall good meal, would eat here again. Probably 3.5 stars, but ya know, Google.

Got a sampler of meats from Krazy Steve's. Wow! Did not disappoint! The pulled pork and the beef brisket were delicious. The pork slightly sweet and tender. The beef slightly salted and taste of the smoke. The rib was cooked to perfection, tasting of itself and the right amount of rub. The meat had it's integrity and did not fall off the bone. It was masterful. The homemade custard was an Oreo delight. A must try. I'm very excited about this new place in the neighborhood, and I can't wait to go back for the pizzas!

I think that was the best tasting pulled pork sandwich I've had. I also had the wings recently and they were good, but good wings aren't as good as good pulled pork. I ate the leftover wings later, so that says something.

The food was amazing. The barbecue melts in your mouth and really doesn’t even need the sauce, which was also home made and awesome! Even the braised super greens, which I had some misgivings about visually, were excellently flavored. I’m not usually a big mac n’ cheese person but I finished the side after one bite. Hard to find barbecue this good without heading out of state.

This place is GOLD! We got the Family Plan which is like a sampler and literally EVERYTHING was fantastic! Even the French fries were the best I’ve had in a looong time! Meat was great, sides were great, bread was great! The coleslaw looked weird so I was expecting it to taste bad but it was honestly the best I’ve had in forever. Krazy Steve is here talking ya up and he is bound to have a successful restaurant. Mark my words. You would think he paid me. I’m paying him again next time for AMAZING BBQ! Even the chips and salsa were better than they should be at a BBQ spot!! Place is that good.

Great addition to the neighborhood. We stopped.by tonight for the soft opening - four thumbs up! Brisket, pulled pork and ribs were all delicious, as were the mac & cheese, chili beans (try them together!) and greens. Nice beer selection- friendly staff - good sized portions and fair prices. What's not to like?

Had a great meal. Very friendly, efficient service, and a really tasty brisket sandwich. They gave me a free sample of their homemade soft service ice cream and I wish I had room for a full-serving because it was delicious. Looking forward to going back and trying the pizza. They told me the old Armand's ovens are still in place. A welcome addition to the neighborhood.

I love the meat they slam on those sandwiches. The pulled pork was tender and juicy. Unlike most places, it's not dry! The bun is nice and soft, but with a small crunch to it which gives the sandwich a delectable combination of textures. The macaroni and cheese was comforting and paired well with the meat. I can see this place potential as being a real local hub. Edit: The music atmosphere has been fixed. Edit2: I've been going here to see their progress

Checked out Krazy Steve's with my brother during their soft open; we were really impressed. We got a ton of food, way more than we could eat, for our money. We tried the two-meat sampler with brisket and ribs with a sides of french fries and mac-n'-cheese. Brisket was super tender, and the ribs were perfectly smoked. Mac-n'-cheese was amazing, and I'm excited to go back to try the mac-n'-cheese entrees. Absolute highlight was the deep dish pizza - which we've been craving since Armands closed down in Silver Spring. Can't wait for the grand opening; we'll definitely be back.

Went to Crazy Steve’s for the first time last night. Hadn’t been to this location since Armand’s closed. I was hesitant since the last year of Armand’s was soooo bad. Walked in to see the Montgomery County Executive sitting in the first booth! I told the staff who he was and they kindly greeted him. The food was amazing! My hubby had the half chicken with spicy sauce and potato salad. I don’t eat meat, so I got the mac and cheese with portobellos and mild sauce. We had the fresh custard for dessert. Loved everything! Met Crazy Steve and, yes, he’s truly crazy in a good way! Very passionate about his restaurant! We’ll be back to try the deep dish pizza! Thanks, Steve and staff for a great addition to the neighborhood!

Had time on my hands on a Sunday afternoon while waiting for guests...had the chicken and ribs combo with Mac and cheese along with the super greens. Mac and cheese was outstanding; greens were phenomenal; chicken was chopped-up small like baby food and cold. The ribs were tender, but not hot, barely hot. Service was great, no complaints there.

I'm sitting here right now and just ate the most amazing barbequed brisket sandwich I've ever tasted! The smoked meat is to die for and the staff is friendly and welcoming. My friend fell in love with the mac and cheese poppers. I'll try them next time. I'm a new regular!
