I love this cute Thai restaurant. The service was great but there was only one person there serving but she was very nice. The foods are amazing with a reasonable price.

One of the best Thai restaurants in Maryland and DC area! Tastes very authentic, bursts of flavor, you can request for spicy and great friendly atmosphere. We ordered the Pad Kee Mao Tofu, Duck Noodle Soup, Pad Kra Pow and Som Tum (Papaya Salad).

Delicious food and very friendly staff. We have tried many of the dishes and they transported us to Thailand through the sensoral pleasure elicited by the variety of herbs and spices used in the artistic creation of flavors. A great place for a quick lunch, too. Looking for delicious take out, this is your go to place in the area. The wide selection of offerings allows us to select a few dishes to share among our party and we keep coming back to try more. Haven't tried Thai, yet? Welcome to the culinary adventure that awaits you.

Restaurant is Lamoon. So delicious. Excellent staff and service. We tried a new dish, pottery shrimp. Wonderful and flavorful! My Panang was the best I've had in quite some time. Thai tea was so flavorful, we had 2 servings!

Really authentic and delicious Thai food. The pad woon sen was really spicy but so mouthwatering yummy. The drunken noodles had great flavor but the noodles didn't seem as good as Amina Thai. The yellow curry's sauce was pretty good but the chicken felt a little overcooked. The rice in the mango sticky rice was so creamy yet chewy in the most elegant way. Portion sizes felt a little small but overall very tasty! Possibly increase portion and pricing accordingly ;)

Lamoon Thai has been one of my favorite spots since I've moved to Silver Spring. There have been many occasions where I've explored various items off the menu and I have not once been disappointed yet. My favorites so far have been the creamy Kao Soi (it can probably cheer you up after any harsh and terribly long day), the Duck Noodle Soup, any of their curries, the crispy calamari, and their Thai Chicken Wings. Highly recommend this spot for their lunch menu and happy hour :)

This place is really great. The food is amazing, very affordable, and the staff is so nice. It's definitely one of our go tos. Also the lunch special is the best deal I've found in the area.

It's a new Thai Market. It was a carryout part of the Thai food store. The original counter, table are still the same. Food - same authentic Thai, although menu was expanded to include some desert and soup. The hours was also extended to 10 pm. More specific details. They don't have parking as of now due to construction next do, only on street. If you're not familiar with Silver Spring you probably would have a hard time to find it - look for Safeway and this place is across the street. My last visit I had Crispy Spring rolls and Yen To Fu - seafood soup. This set me up for $18 I give it 5 rating although it's more like 4.8 now. Consider Ruang Khao and Charm Thai. Kao Thai is way overpriced to be here.

Lamoon is a hidden gem! When I first walked in, I quickly noticed there were no patrons so I was apprehensive about dining. I quickly checked the reviews then asked for a menu and placed an order for the Drunken Noodle Chicken dish. Wow, was it good! I took my food to go and couldn’t even make it past the block where the restaurant is located before I opened it up, sat on the stoop and devoured it. I highly recommend it and will I’ll be back!

We ordered carry out from them for the first time. We had green curry, Tamarind fried duck and the Yum Woon Sen. It was delicious! We will be back!

Yummy food and very reasonably priced. Considering the place was empty (it was an odd time of day) service could’ve been faster. But the staff was very friendly and once we ordered the food came quickly.

A great Thai place to meet up with friends. Very spacious and surprisingly empty when I was there. Street parking was easy to find. Staff was friendly and professional. I only got calamari appetizer and I loved it.
