I love it when I see a nice local place with a family working hard in the back.
I stopped by here becuase I needed a quick eat and they provided that.
The prices a normal, nothing out of the ordinary compared to other fast food Chinese. The service is nothing special, its not a restaurant, so don't expect it. Overall, it is a nice place I would recommend for some good Chinese fast food.
Shrimp Chow Fun: Noodles was thick and surprisingly, was not salty at all. It is the first time eating something with little salt for fast food place. There was good shrimp volume and overallx just yummy noodles if your a fan.
General Taos: Liked that the chicken to rice ratio was good. There was so much chicken that it didnt seem there was any rice. There general chicken was good and crispy, the sauce was salty as expected in and enjoyable. No issues here, I mean its general chicken… Hard to mess it up.
Hot Soup: This is some,serious hot soup and fantastic. The spicy level was beyond what I thought and loved it. It was simple spicy hot soup with tofu abd mushrooms in it, its perfect.
Fair prices, good communication on a delivery order. Family friendly, family run restaurant. Limited but sufficient seating, primarily for takeaway and delivery.
Absurdly they were even open and doing business as usual yesterday on the day a MetroBus jammed itself in the jewelry shop next-door! Even with all that chaos, still took the time to call me for clarification on a special request for a family member with multiple allergies. Impressive dedication to customer service.
Good take out food in Wheaton, generous portions, reasonable prices. The dishes I've had were not too salty, which is hard to find.
Some of the best Chinese food in Silver Spring area with decent prices. Though the workers seem kind of rude- especially to Black people. And some items are over priced- over all the flavor of the food is as good as NYC. Which we know has some of the best lol
Always loved this place!! The young lady who is there most of the nights, i believe that is Jenny, is extremley polite and very courteous. She always treats my mom very nicely when ever she comes in and asks about the family. Overall, Highgly recommend.
I am a local customer and I had tasted many dishes from Jenny's Express!The General TSO's Chicken is what I ordered every time plus hot and sour soup,The foods are good enough for my two meals,LOL!I like the taste and will keep coming back!
I will definitely come back again!Great food ,during the COVID-19,It took some more time to wait,it could be understood cuz short of the hands,but the food always good !!!Especially the Singapore Rice noodle and steak cheese!If you wanna taste the steak cheese not in the sub rolls and then they have the steak cheese egg rolls ,that is one of my favorite too!
