7/27/21 *UPDATE*
Due to limited space for extremely long reviews, I will have to discard some of my older reviews for this one.
I'll be the first to admit; I hyped this place up to everyone. Why? Because most of my visits are great with incredible salads, smoothies, and americanos, as well as friendly employees.
I have ordered several of each since my last review on Greens On Your Way.
Everything has been fresh tasting and esthetically appealing.
However, although this has happened twice, I will only write about the latest.
I ordered The Italian Salad, which consisted of romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, sliced olives, red onions, marinated artichoke hearts, pepperoncini slices, topped with mozzarella cheese. My choices of dressings were both supposed to have been the Italian dressings.
First, they gave me one Italian, which had terrific flavoring, but the second one is a mystery.
And my salad, although very fresh and delicious tasting, In the whole salad I found three little tomatoes and hardly any cheese and no red onion.
And the employee that gave me my salad and smoothie, I felt she was overwhelmed, didn't want to be there, and her lack of manners spoke volumes. I really do understand that a lot of places are currently understaffed, a simple reminder to customers of that would surely help, but to hand me my food and walk off without a "thank you" well, you get where I am going with this.
So Greens on Your Way, please tell me this isn't a trend, and be forced to change my star rating for your restaurant. For now, I am keeping my five-star rating, and on my next visit, I'll determine if I change it or not.
*I still believe and encourage everyone to support small locally owned businesses like Greens On Your Way, it's a challenging time for everyone, especially small businesses, and please be kind to all living things*

I finally tried their Americano, 8 ounces of bliss! To me, this Americano ranks just as well as Island Smoothies and Austin Chase! Enjoy the smooth, creamy chocolate undertones of Madrona Coffee with no brazen aftertaste!

The other day I had ordered a Non-fat green tea frappuccino. I stated in my review that I had hoped to try one of their fabulous looking salads; Today, my husband and I stopped in to grab a couple of salads to go for lunch, as well as a Quinoa bowl to put as a side to our dinner. I ordered a Taco Salad, and my husband ordered a Southern Bell.
The Taco Salad had Romaine lettuce, and on that bed of lettuce laid black beans, olives, green onions, house-made Pico de Gallo, half of an avocado, topped with cheddar cheese and tortilla strips. The dressing they paired with it was a house-made Taco Ranch (I opted out). The Taco salad was nothing for the faint of heart; this salad was exceptionally sized and delicious.
The Southern Bell also had Romaine lettuce, on that bed of lettuce, there were black beans, corn salsa (corn, fresh lime juice, red onions, cherry tomatoes, and cilantro), topped with Cotija cheese and crispy onion straws, and Housemade Chipotle Ranch.
(Cotija Cheese is an aged Mexican cheese made from cow's milk, and it originates from Cotija, Michoacán. It is in comparison with parmesan cheese )
The Southern Bell was just as large and delightful as my Taco Salad. I even tasted the Chipotle Ranch that came with this salad, I honestly don't understand putting Ranch with it or anything Mexican, but I admit, it was tasty!
Now, about the Quinoa bowl, neither one of us were as excited about the quinoa bowl as we were about the salads. Both of us agreed that there seemed to be a strong presence of cucumber in it. Either way, I'm sure there are plenty of people that love and appreciate it as is.
