First time experience was awesome, very clean and modern with open space as you walk in. Wife and I decided to both go for the cod and chips which was a 10/10, the clam chowder bowl was also a 10/10. The only downside I see happening is when the crowd starts to grow and the weather does not support outside seating, the seating inside is very limited, which is sad because the inside is a comfortable setting. Would recommend this to anyone, just be careful with larger size groups, as stated above limited on space.
Kettlefish was excellent. I couldn't decide what I wanted so I went with the Captain's Platter. It was great. My only nitpick is the tarter sauce was a bit too salty. I prefer a sweeter tarter sauce. Overall, my meal was very good.
A nice little place for an inexpensive seafood lunch. The fish fillets are breaded bread crumb style rather than batter dipped.
The Good News: it's clean, reasonably priced, and has attentive staff. There's even a little patio to sit outside.
The Bad News: because of the nature of the traffic flow in the area parking can be a challenge. Also it's more setup for take away than dining in.
Really tasty fish, chips & tartar sauce. The clam chowder bowl our friend had was a very generous portion. Nice dine-in space, with some outdoor seating too. Would visit again.
This is an awesome seafood restaurant. I will be back again and again. Btw staff is very nice and place is extremely clean. Food, do I need to say anything. Oysters and clam chowder are out of the world.
Update: bumped up on the stars, great experience, very friendly and the are bring Root beer floats soon, got to love that.
Kettlefish is a nice quick place to get fine dinning food in a quick satisfying way. I had the steamer Mussel and Clam and it was very good, my wife said it was not soup but I disagree the juices where great and very satisfying. The atmosphere was of a barista fixing a coffee but instead it was seafood, loved that like my lautay. There is seating outside and in and was very relaxing. Only down notch was the size of the portions, but the price was right.
