Tender ribs, good pulled pork, sides good. Fast service. Friendly staff. We ordered lite meals and they were very filling.
Potato Salad was amazing, Pulled pork was very good also loved the BBQ sauce and they were very friendly and nice good service. We will be back great spot to eat in Silverton, Guy Fierri also visited them!
BBQ spot in Silverton that will often remind you Guy Fieri featured them on his show. We got the pulled pork sandwich and “pork sundae” with cornbread and cole slaw. Everything seemed to mix in the same mildly sweet flavor. If you’ll eat at any featured Diners Drive-Ins and Dive, this is your obligatory lunch stop. But if you’re a BBQ aficionado you won’t be wowed by Thee Pitts.
Finally stopped in and tried 3 Pits BBQ.
I thought I knew how to smoke ribs but after trying there’s I’m back home learning again.
Absolutely incredible, perfectly smoked ribs! Thanks for the inspiration.
The BBQ ribs were very good and so was the pulled pork sandwich. Service good try to get there before train arrives.
Stopped by for lunch while visiting Silverton. The line moves quickly, it was easy to find a table outside, and the food came out quickly and tasted great. The pulled pork sandwich was really good, as was the brisket plate and bbq chicken sandwich. The fried pickles were pretty good, came out as spears with ranch dipping sauce.
The food was great! We had six people in our party and we shared three dinners and one appetizer. It was enough for all of us! Get the ham, you won’t regret it!
Quick and friendly service: you will have enough time to have a really enjoyable meal and shop if you are stopping here on the Durango / Silverton train.
Every year we come to Silverton we come here. Not sure why Google is saying that they are temporarily closed, they are open. We always get the same thing. The appetizer of beer battered onion rings, pickles and cauliflower. We love love their homemade ranch that comes with it. For our entrees we both, husband and I. Order the pulled pork sandwich with fries. Our four-year-old also gets a kids pulled pork sandwich with fries and my two-year-old just eats off my plate. Nothing ever goes to waste and it is always consistently the best barbecue I’ve ever had. Yet again this place is open not closed so don’t let that for you.
