First time dining here. Food was delicious had the chicken and scallop combination. Our chef was fantastic and really made the dinner preparation a fun time!

The Chef's are fun to watch cook as they play jokes and show off their skills. I ordered the NY steak and shrimp dinner combination and it was delicious.
Great for small groups of 2 or 3. Teppan is nice and chefs are very interactive especially with kids. Good for sushi newbies, easy to be helped by asking about what you like. Waiting for teppan table is VERY long time during peak meal times, not worth it.
I made a reservation for 6 pm. I called the restaurant 15 min before to let them know we were running 5 if we could move to 615. Once we arrived, we were gaslighted and told I didn't talk to anyone. We walked out.
Love Ken of Japan. My favorite sushi place in Simi. I know there are probably better places but for me, I've always had a great meal and time here.
The service is terrible. The hostess didn’t acknowledge our presence for several minutes, and the other host crossed our reservation while we were waiting for service, then gave someone our table. He was very rude and denied that we were waiting.
