Today for lunch we headed to Joe Pizza. We started out with the Italian Meatballs. The meatballs were definitely made in house. The sauce was very fresh. it's served with a single slice of garlic bread and topped with ricotta, which is a really nice touch. I also ordered a coconut milkshake which was absolutely delicious.As always, we ordered a pepperoni pizza. The pizza came out very quickly and immediately we were impressed with the airy crust. They use the smaller pepperonis a Joe pizza which is a nice change of pace.My only issue with this pizza is that there was almost too much pepperoni on it. The ronis were on top of each other, sometimes 3 or 4 of them. That might be a personal preference though, I'm sure there are tons of people who love the endless amount of pepperoni on this pie. The server was also very polite and helpful. He had a couple of tables and did a great job of giving all of them the appropriate attention.

We ordered to go. Pick for to go is around the side of the building. It was correct and on time. We got a large chicken and pineapple pizza - they only have small or large. For two of us a large was waaaaaay to much. The garlic loaf and dipping sauce were both delicious.

Joe Pizza was my favorite restaurant while I was living in Simsbury with my husband. We recently visited Joe Pizza again, this time to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The staff here are super friendly and helpful and the food is delicious. I am never disappointed when I stop by Joe Pizza for either a quick lunch or a romantic dinner. Their food is authentic and fantastic, the perfect kind of comfort food. The portion sizes here are rather big, so make sure you come hungry! Whatever leftovers you have will make for a delicious lunch the next day. I no longer live in Connecticut, but I will continue to stop by Joe Pizza whenever I do end up in town. It's definitely worth the trip up for me.
