Great classic food. A little pricey, but good loose meat sandwiches. The onion chips are excellent and better with the dip.
I miss the Tastee Inn & Out in Lincoln, Nebraska. I had to stop & try it. The food was hot and good! It definitely was worth the visit.
Mom grew up in Lincoln, and every chance we would get, she’d take me to the location there. I fell in love with Tastee’s at an early age. They had a drive through and you always had to have someone go with you to get the food, because you’d receive it through the passenger side. One time we came up to Sioux City (we live in Omaha) to get things from the butcher shop with my stepdad’s voucher from Omaha/Winnebago tribe, and mom told me there was a Tastee’s restaurant. I was super excited because I haven’t had it in years. They do not disappoint; tastes just like it was when I was a kid, 15 or 20 years ago. Anyone in the Midwest has got to try Tastee’s. Tastes like home, happiness, and nostalgia.
Always been a great place to eat and some ppl dont know about it to this day but tend to show em what's up over there. Thanks for being a good place to eat
Man this place is delicious! I might have to make the two hour drive again just to get more.
