Overall: Simple yet effective, come to Rainwater for a casual and friendly meal.
The good: Extremely friendly service, from both the waitstaff and the folks behind the register. But, equally important, the food was great. One of the best biscuits I've had in awhile (and it was homemade). Soft, dough-y, and thick, it really hit the spot next to the stuffed hashbrowns. We definitely left full and happy. Oh, and the various coffee mugs are a nice touch!
The not-so-good: The vibe definitely isn't for everyone, though we certainly didn't mind. A tad expensive for what you get, and don't come if you're on a diet, because there's essentially no healthy options.

Seems like a one woman shop- takes the orders, makes the food etc. An interesting spot with a random assortment of things for sale. Not many veg options, but I made it work. There was ice cream, pie, christmas decorations, and breakfast.
This place just opened and it is a great basic cafe. They have coffee, baked goods, ice cream and good food for a great price. Sisters is an expensive place to eat and we were impressed by the great sandwiches and nice cozy cafe. I had the veggie sandwich with turkey and my husband had the clubhouse and our kids had soup (chicken gumbo). The choice of sides was a ton and the sandwiches were less than $9 each. It was a bit cold and the service a bit slow but that's what you get at a small place with 2 people working. We will definitely be stopping there again!
Recently came for a breakfast. Ordered two breakfast burritos with hash browns. It was a bit pricey. The burrito however was good.
Friendly worker. Fresh food so expect a wait time for food (understandable).
Amazing breakfast! Spent the weekend in Bend, stopped here on the way out, food and service beats everywhere else we've been all weekend! Coffee was amazing!! My husband rarely goes anywhere without complaining about SOMETHING and get ate all his food plus mine and loved every bit of it! Service was wonderful.
Excellent variety of gluten free options that rival the taste and texture of the world's greatest bakeries. If you don't believe me, listen to the various other patrons of the cafe who went from skeptical of the gluten free pastries to singing their praises to the whole room. The food is as delicious as baked goods. Highly recommend, and I'll be coming back here every time I'm in town!
A passionate owner and great staff. Best potato or mac salad I've had and some very tasty homemade pies to go with the ice cream and cookies. Good food and conversation with owner and crowd.
Love this place! Great place to slip into if your looking for a bite to eat or a tasty treat! Having an espresso machine is just an added plus. Great variety of gluten free n home mades!!!
The breakfast selection is pretty limited the omelet was good. But we didn't get our hashbrowns till our meal was gone. It's more of a coffee cafe than a restaurant.
Very good food with a local feeling. Lots of options with each of them being just as good (except for the pizza because they don't actually have a pizza oven). Nice people and good service.

This is a great place to eat if you have a gluten allergies. They have alot to choose from That is gluten free. Very friendly it's worth the visit.
