Best King Cakes in Slidell! Super moist... The only place I go to buy a KingCake. They are a little too sweet for my personal taste, but everybody loves them! Great packaging too.
Best King Cakes around. I'm a local NOLA gal, and I have tried numerous king cakes from different bakeries. Randazzo's Camellia City bakery definitely has the BEST one around!!! My fav is the Cream Cheese/ Pecan Praline mix...it makes my mouth water just thinking about it! They also have the nicest customer service!
Favorite king cake. Opened 1997. Not directly tied to the "other" Randazzo's in other NOLA burbs.
The king cakes are excellent (if may a little sweet). I had the traditional, strawberry and cream cheese, and turtle -- all outstanding, moist, and fresh.
The owners are delightful too.

They are straight to the point with King Cakes down in Nola. The only thing this store sales is KING CAKE! Not too sweet and not too bland with a nice soft fluffy cake! I can describe it all day, but you really gotta come try it for yourself! They do get extremely busy so be prepare to wait for some deliciousness!
I was gifted this King Cake by my BFF/BROTHER who lives in LA. I lived there for a time myself and have had my share of King Cakes,but Camellia City Bakery in Slidell, LA has by far the BEST one l have ever eaten and this the traditional cinnamon cake. I can hardly wait to try the specialty flavors 😋.!

I came to this location in hopes of finding the right flavor for my fiancee. The other Randazzo's ran out which is the normal case. But as soon as I walked in, the flavor was sold out. I was bummed and thought about another day not getting what I came for. As I was about to settle for just a strawberry filling, the young lady asked me to wait for a moment while she checked for more cakes. Sure enough, she came back out with a strawberry cream cheese. It was a victorious moment. I left with the biggest smile. The whole staff was welcoming and generous. I live in Baton Rouge and I drove to New Orleans for this cake. I WILL BE BACK (to this location)! 😁😁
I was born and raised on the south shore and have tasted just about every king cake made in town: Manny's; Caluda's; Haydel's; blah, blah blah. I could never understand why people went crazy over this dry cinnamon roll with sand crystals on top. Then, after we moved to Northshore, one day my wife came home with a king cake from Camellia City Bakery. I couldn't believe it, this king cake actually tasted amazing! I actually wanted another slice! This place is a total game changer. Thank you CC bakery for bringing redemption to the king cake; only took me like 30 years, lol.
