Stopped in for lunch with my wife and granddaughter. It was not yet busy so we hurried and ordered. The customer service was great. Our food came quickly and was hot! Thank you! The food was great! Before leaving we decided we needed ice cream. It took over twenty minutes to make two shakes and one ice cream cone. Our food came faster than that. That's the reason for the four star.
Can be a little slow in the drive thru, but overall it's worth it. Their cheese curds and fries are always so good. The fry sauce is a must have for me, it's their own special recipe and has a dill flavor to me. So good!
This was basically the perfect fast food experience. Restaurant was clean (and they had someone going around to sweep the floors, so it was no accident) the food was hot and tasty and well composed, and the on-tap root beer sweet and delicious. Excellent job, we'll be back! BTW, I highly recommend the papa sauce - so good!
I am so very very very sad that this place closed. First, it was the one on 7th north... now this one :-(.
It's hard to pass up a fresh, hot Papa Burger, fresh fries, and some ice cold fresh-from-the-tap root beer.
The owner is awesome and knows how to treat customers. Very little of that is lost through the staff as well. I'm usually greeted right away and customer service far exceeds most other fast food places.
I can't think of a time over the past few years where there has been more than one dirty table in the dining room... even when it's busy. The restrooms are almost always clean. The (screen of the) faucet in the men's room needs to be replaced.
Places like this and service like this is hard to come by and it's always sad to see this go. The only solace provided is that I was able to get one of the very last gallons of root beer produced here. I will truly miss it. Thank you for keeping the nostalgia alive over the years!

A&W has always been a favorite of mine. Surprisingly, I only liked their food more after working there. The on-tap rootbeer is always wonderful, they have the best corn dogs, and use quality ingredients for their burgers. I think their main shortcoming is the same as any other fast-food restaurant, and that's a fairly high employee turnover rate. Naturally there are some employees who don't make the sandwiches as nicely than others, or who forget to repeat my order back to me at the drive-thru and miss something. As a whole, however, my experience with A&W has been great, and it still offers higher quality food and service than most fast-food restaurants I've eaten at. Besides, I love the oldies music they play.

I had the pleasure of working for A&W and the customers and crew here are amazing!!!! Inside and out this restaurant is a true gem!!! It was the most amazing experience!!!! Like many customers I have came in contact with. This place does not get the attention it deserves!! Stop in for a Papa burger on Tuesday!!! Or the cheese curds, the undisputed champion rootbeer in a frozen mug! There is so many amazing choices on the menu!!! I had the chance to work in an amazing environment. And thanks to all employees and customers alike have changed me for the better. And will always have a special place in my heart! Thank you from the bottom of heart for the wonderful opportunity and all the laughter and smiles!
The fries and Papa Burger were cooked great. The wait staff was quick to get orders out. Would definitely recommend eating here. I was sad that the restaurant wasn't open but like everywhere else, they must be understaffed.
We have yet to be disappointed with the yummy food here! The burgers, cheese curds, freezes, flats and ice cream are always big hits at our house! They have some of the best fries around - no need for dip, unless you really want it. Everything is always hot and fresh, so there is sometimes a bit longer of a wait, but it's worth it!
Love the root beer and the burgers were delicious!
Drive through service was very good, one item was going to take a few extra minutes but they let me know that when I ordered and asked if I wanted to wait for it--great job of clarifying expectations so I knew what to expect.
I know things are expensive, but $40 for 2 was a bit nite than I expected. We were the only ones there and the crew was way more interested in their up sales and social life than me as a customer.
