First time here! Cuban sandwich was Epic! Best I have ever eaten! Convenient location, wonderful service and a nice shop to browse through! I would highly recommend and will be back!!
Wow! Excellent! Sure enjoyed the tacos and tallboys! The very best tacos ever. Can't decide which was the best, beef, shrimp or chicken!

Ate there for the first time yesterday. Cuban sandwich and sweet potato fries were the best I have ever eaten! The She Crab soup was so creamy and delicious. I wanted to lick the cup. Wonderful homey atmosphere and charming shop to browse through. Staff was very attentive. Will definitely be back.
Wonderful place to stop in for a bite while shopping on Main Street in Historic Downtown Smithfield. Good atmosphere, smiling staff, and you can't say enough about the Smithfield ham.
Very nice place to eat! Good food, good service, not to mentions the endless flavors of Va. peanuts to sample!

Celebrated our daughter’s 19th birthday and leaving for college last night with a family and friends. Service was superb for our party of 16 and food was excellent. We were checked on by manager John numerous times. Thanks for making our night great!

Worked with Management to host a small event after work for our office. Planning was easy, I arrived early- everything was ready, food was excellent, service (especially Noelle), was wonderful. Will certainly go back!
The restaurant was packed and very busy when we arrived. We only waited a minute or two to be seated. We had a very sweet waitress who was very attentive. The food was delicious. We always enjoy our visits to Smithfield.
Food is always good. Quaint atmosphere and very enjoyable staff.
Finally tried the chicken salad and it was amazing. So were the sweet potato fries.
Love this place.

The chicken salad is amazing, along with the broccoli cheddar soup. Breakfast buffet on the weekends are wonderful! Definitely a family place and our kids love it too!

Great lunch and such great people who waited on us. Great chicken salad and potato salad. Don't forget to get a coconut macaroon, for later, on the way out!! Enjoyed Smithfield with my girl friends!

Sandwiches were both super well-constructed. Collards were sweeter than I'm used to, but they were still good. Prices were very reasonable, I would have gladly paid more for this meal too.
The Wait was a long time,(1 hour), 3 wonderful glasses of ice cold lemonade, then it dawn on me, Mother's Day weekend:) Prom weekend, dresses and dates and worried Moms came in . Grandmother's, mom's and daughter's with the tiniest baby's girls came in stroller. What a marvelous time. When food came I was pass hungery..

We ate here for the first time and it was delicious!! The Southern Gent Chicken sandwich was one of the best chicken sandwiches my husband said he’s ever eaten.
Our server was friendly and made a lot of great suggestions of menu items since this was our first time. The manager came around and chatted with us and helped our server out being they were so busy.
Food came out quickly. This will definitely be our go to restaurant every time we venture out to Smithfield.
The food and service here are always excellent. Amazing location and friendly service. The Brussels spouts are so good.

The service was spot on, everyone was delightful and just about anticipated our every need. The menu was filled with amazing things...many familiar dishes, many had a really interesting twist. All of our food brought smiles to our faces. I will definitely come back. And as a bonus, do yourself a favor and pick up some of the cured ham and other treats in the market.
I stopped in today for lunch with my daughter, son-in-law, and grandkids. It's a local hotspot for food so I knew I wouldn't be disappointed. Everybody had something different in everyone enjoyed their food. Our waitress was Maggie and she was very delightful, efficient and good with the kids. Kids. We will definitely come here again and recommend this place to everyone.
This place never fails. Any time of the day, they are on point. The staff is excellent front and back of the house. The food is tasty. It has a unique feel. I applaud the bartender! The server was very knowledgeable about the food. BEST PLACE IN SMITHFIELD!
This was not my first visit and it won't be my last. I have had breakfast and lunch here a few times. Pork. If that's in your vocabulary you'll like Taste of Smithfield. The club sandwich with Smithfield ham became on of my favorites today. Excellent service and atmosphere, I highly recommend it.
