I was pleased with my experience at Andersen's and we went back a second time, and that was very good also. Consistent. The staff is very attentive and very friendly. They came over to us right away and took our order. The food didn't take a long time to come out - I've read other reviews that said

Take out was incredibly fast. all the orders in separate aluminum pans with lids. The brisket is awesome with the side of their bbq sauce. They got more sides to select and well worth it.
I'm giving Andersen's 5 Stars, but it's for my next visit, not today's.
I've read the early reviews, spoken to friends, and in spite of a generally lukewarm response, I wanted to give this new Smithtown business a try.
We dine up and down Main Street and Maple Avenue, as well as 25A in St. James.
Absolutely loved my meal!! I was craving a "Southern" meal of BBQ smoked brisket "Ends" and was surprised to see they had Collard Greens on the menu. The "ends" were tender, perfectly seasoned and the collard greens were so fresh and had that true southern flavoring. They have so much to offer on
Excellent 👍 BBQ. The beef brisket is outstanding! The baby back ribs are tender and I love the sauce! Collard greens were cooked to perfection! We are definitely going back and bringing friends!

I have been there a few times already. The ribs have alway been great, fall off the bone succulent. My girlfriend has tried other dishes and it’s always good.
