Just discovered this fabulous bistro...... The fondue appetizers is delicious and fun. The Cesar salad had homemade croutons and tons of shaved parm'. Wonderful! Had a warm gooey molten chocolate something or other for desert. Loved it and I'm not a chocolate person. Can't recommend this little spot enough.
We met up with a friend here. My wife had the pasta with Kelso Sausage. She thought it was good. I had the Pork Milanese, which was much like a schnitzel, with brown gravy and some mashed potatoes. It was also good. I also had a Stone Smoked Porter to drink, which I liked. The service was friendly and good.
We stopped by for a quick dinner and really enjoyed this place. It is in historic Snohomish so it has a nice historic feel to it. The staff was nice and very attentive. The drinks from the bar were spot on, I had some jalapeño drink which was spicy. I had the short ribs which were a special that night. Everyone enjoyed the food we had no room for dessert so I can’t comment on that. I found the food comparable to what you might find in Bellevue or Seattle.
Took my wife and son for dinner. They had the fish and it was awesome (they say) and I had the chicken cordon bleu. It came with a cooked carrot sliced in half length wise. It was interesting and very good. The potatoes were amazing too. I didn’t care for the chicken. It was not tender and somewhat flavourless. We didn’t have a reservation and had to eat in the lounge so make a reservation for preferred seating.
Excellent service, food quality and food presentation was good. Prices are reasonable and the environment was relaxing and clean.
My husband and I love Roger's! We have enjoyed double dates with friends and he also recently surprised me with an anniversary dinner here! The service has always been attentive but not overly hovering, and they always keep things fresh by offering seasonal dishes with locally sourced ingredients. You can dine inside or out on the deck where you have lovely views of the Snohomish River and the riverside walking trail, and during the colder months they have heaters and blankets available! We especially enjoy the fondue and the chicken cordon Bleu, but have yet to try anything we dislike. Apparently I enjoyed it so much the only photo I've taken is of the flowers on the table!
We celebrated our office Christmas party here on the outside covered deck. They'd made it cozy with space heaters and thick blankets to wrap up in if needed. We had appetizers: clams, crab cakes and toast points. 3 of us had rack of lamb, 2 had shrimp fettuccine and the rest of us had the rib eye steak. We raved about the mashed potatoes, our meat was cooked to perfection, and each of us had desert. We were completely satiated and all 8 of us agreed we'd be back again.
Might just be the best place to dine jn Snohomish. Had the specials (duck confit and scallops) and both were superb. The clams in cream sauce was amazing and likely something I’ll order every time I come here. Interiors bring out what’s great about Snohomish. Tasteful interiors juxtaposed against historic brick walls and adverts from a bygone era. Friendly staff and Roger himself comes out to meet everyone. 5 stars. Solid date night spot or for entertaining guests from out-of-town.
