I always wondered of a utopian menuless restaurant. A place where you could just walk in with your dream food in mind and the chef will make it true. I can’t believe I found such flexibility in Snyder TX. I can’t think of ways you can be dissapointed at Ponderosa’s food.
Fantastic fresh food. From the chips and salsa to every meal the chef makes. I had 4 different tacos and they were as authentic as they come. Portions are ginormous! Thanks for such a great experience!!

This is not normally a place I would choose to have lunch but it was recommended so we have it a try. The food here was DELICIOUS!! We had a big group and had to wait a little bit but receiving freshly made food was great!!
Snyder's best kept secret. Walk in, order and listen to Luis slamming pans in the kitchen. Don't be surprised that after your order comes he keeps dropping by the table with samples from the menu. Fantastic guacamole!!! Awesome pozole and caldo. Very friendly atmosphere.
It's the best.I'm in Snyder once a year for 4 days straight and I eat there EVERYDAY.LOTS of food for a fair price.The owners are very nice and humble people.
Stopped here twice when we were staying overnight - once for dinner and once for breakfast. Great portions and great people. Worth it!
It was AMAZING!!!! Everything was Absolutely fresh! Everything was delicious, it is truly a hidden gem in Snyder, TX!!!! The owners were so friendly! The husband cooked the amazing food and the wife waited on our table. She was so friendly and help me with my pronunciation when I pointed at something and said I didn't know how to say it properly.
Delicious food. The cook is from Los Angeles, California. He and his family were all so wonderful. They greeted us and gave us such love in every serving. He took the time to prepare every dish. We will be going to this location every visit. DELICIOUS.
Absolutely amazing from the food to the couple that runs the place. Don’t come if you’re in a hurry. Everything is made from scratch when it’s ordered so it takes a bit of time to get your food but it is well worth the wait!! We’ll be back!
Delicious pancakes, unique home cooking, great value. A little off the beaten path for us, but so worth the extra 7 minutes. What a fun place to go!
