Review Chicken Express - Snyder

Jennifer Northcutt
Earlier tonight I went & ordered 6 livers that should have came with a roll or biscuit. I received what can count as 4 livers if you were being generous. No roll was in the box. The family size order of rolls mostly looked okay but one if them was nearly demolished across the whole top. I didn't have time to eat till after they were closed or I would have called & in & asked about the amount. Since u had spent 30 minutes prior to going to the restaurant trying to call the order in to a constant busy signal maybe after closing I could have gotten through.

Ordered 2 snack packs which come with chicken, 1 side, gravy & a roll or biscuit. Got home & surprise no gravy. The main thing you want. Tried calling from 6:00 to 7:22. Line has been busy. What does that tell you they don't want to deal with their mistakes. I'm very unhappy with this kind of service.

The guy with me ordered a 2 piece meal...a breast and a leg. He ordered extra rolls. He could hardly order because the girl kept talking over him. He was trying to order and she kept interrupting him to ask questions. We got our food. His 2 piece meal consisted of 4 wings instead of a breast and leg and rolls that were hard as rocks. Do not eat at Chicken Express in Snyder!

Fried okra was decent. Fried Chicken was definitely better than KFC. Gravy with kind of bland. Hot sauce packets made everything better. Food was ready very quickly. The sweet tea taste like... Texas sweet tea.

Food was cold and did not taste good. We were given less tenders than paid for.

Update 8/12/18 - original review below (was 4*) Came on Sunday evening at 6pm and waited over 20 minutes for 3 express tender meals. Wasn't busy, they were just coming out sloooow for some reason. Also they were out of 2 different sides I ordered. Cashier should warn people about the wait. One guy asked for a refund as he had also waited 30 minutes Good food, decent service. Had the spicy chicken strips, didn't know I could do mix and match, but they were good. Would go again.

I like their tea, but the chicken breast tasted and looked like it had reached it's 100th birthday. The thigh was tiny, but that's what I had to eat with my sides because the breast was unedible, I had to use the corn on the cob sticks as chop Stix to eat my mashed potatoes cause no fork was provided. I asked for a side of hush puppies, they told me they didn't have any, I asked for unsweetened tea, they gave me sweet, I paid 910 for an old meal.
