Review Taqueria La Gloria - Snyder

Excellent dinner! Wasnt expecting much from this low low key spot, but was I wrong!!! Got the bistec plato and greeted by one of the best dinners I've had in a long time! Great portion size (maybe even too much), very friendly courteous service, and some good home made salsa!! Was very pleased by all aspects of this meal and will hopefully have the opportunity to dine here again! Oh and the tortillas!! Sooo good!!

Be careful ordering menudo to go. They pour boiling menudo into the styrofoam with no tape for the lid. My lid melted last time before getting home. Not acceptable for paying over $10 for a mid-flavored menudo. Elote there is 👎. Always loved their flour tortillas. Through going there unless im physically in need of menudo and they are the only available source 😔

Went in today and had an awful experience. It seemed like since I wasn't Hispanic that the lady just ignored me and went to others we had placed the order on the phone and I walked out. Not pleasant and will not go back.

Didn't like,there was a man sitting at the 1st table by the entrance dinning room. He would get on his cell phone and list all the drinks I would get up to get myself from the front refrigerator while waiting for my food. Like if we were not going to pay for the items. Not the same hospitality as when the dad had in the beginning. Guess this is the 2nd generation 🙄 running the front part of the business. I forgot why I had not stopped by in about 10yrs. I had asked to add avocado 🥑 to my plate and the girl (daughter) said it doesn't come with avocado, so no. I told her I would pay extra $$$ and she says well we don't have any, anyways. But alot of the plates on the menu come with avocado 🥑, and this is a Mexican restaurant. Avocado is a Mexican menu item!! I don't know what happened to pleasing and keeping life long costumers. 😕

The food is good. What I expected. The menudo tastes as if my mom made it. Homemade corn tortillas topped it off.

Ordered the "Tacos De Bistec" they were good. The staff and server were all nice people. Overall it was a good dinning experience.

First time eating there, it was good food, hard to get in though with a wheelchair.

Family owned, AUTHENTIC! I have two favorite authentic mexican food places in Snyder... And this is one of them. The tacos are delicious. And the ENCHILADAS... HEAVEN! Be prepared to wait and enjoy their family style dining room, or call in your order. It's worth it. It's a disappointment to see others give a bad review because of "space" or "wait". They are a sweet family and their desire is to serve you with a smile and good food. Do not hesitate to eat here based off of "bad reviews". I can tell you this is some of the best REAL Mexican food this side of the border!
