Great value, hearty food that hits the spot. Love the quick service and fresh food. The portions are huge, lunch comes with salad and dessert so save room! The cream of wheat is worth a try. The clams and pork has only 7 clams, I wish there’s an option to pay to add more clams because they are very tasty. Pork chops were well seasoned and not overdone. I can see why this is a neighborhood favorite.

One of my favorite places to grab a steak and eggs brunch on lazy Sunday mornings.
I always opt for the sirloin steak with ham and eggs, and it has consistently been a satisfying and wholesome experience. The meal comes with crispy toasts and strawberry jam to start off with, and the chips, rice, and grilled veggies on the side are also excellent complements to the protein rich meal. The Portuguese influence in the dish is the most prominent in the veggies and its milky sauce which adds an interesting flair to the meal. I also love how they always include a surprise dessert like warm cinnamon apples and pies.

This place is great! Friendly staff and ambiance, and great food. In the summer their outdoor patio is gorgeous, with grapevines above you filtering the sunlight. But all year round, great food. Also, you must try their cream of wheat! It’s super tasty and warming and creamy and slightly sweet, topped with cinnamon.
We got their Portuguese breakfast (fun and definitely worth trying! Comes with delicious breakfast hash, linguica, blood sausage, beef croquette, shrimp croquette, eggs and rice and beans— really delicious!). Their lamb chops were also delicious and cooked to a juicy perfection. It comes with a bread basket, which has delicious sweet cake-like bread along with some standard toast.

Great tasting Portuguese food that feels home made. This place is great! They make their own bread and fruit jam. Delicious pear dessert.
Enjoyed the Portuguese style plate with shrimp/fish. They serve breakfast and lunch.
Servers were friendly and welcoming.

Such a nice place! Everyone one very friendly and the food is always great, like your mom would cook. Try the wheat cream, if you’ll be there and wear something warm, since all the sitting is only outside. Also if you are ordering the lunch meal you’ll get a soup and a desert with it 😋

We came here for lunch. Loved their home style fries and baked apples the most. Everything else was good too. Very friendly staff. Would love to seat outside next time, weather permitting.

They treat you like family when you come here for breakfast. The atmosphere on the outdoor eating area is awesome with the decor and the chirping birds. Even kids stay seated as it is a unique experience. Top it all off the food was good and we left satisfied. I would recommend this place.

the fruit cup/or/cream of wheat appetizer was delicious... my breakfast was cooked perfectly... our waitress was friendly and efficient.... and yes.. I will go back and try the lunch... AND recommend this place to friends and family ~!

Okay, the seating is a little bit tight and the wait time on Saturday and Sunday mornings can be lengthy, but the meal is well worth it. If you have to wait outside for over an hour on a cold January morning for a table, then the food has to be good. Went there with two friends at noon, but we ordered breakfast. Two of us had Belgian waffles the third had pancakes. The waffles were topped with fresh fruit and whipped cream. I had mine plain. We had cream of wheat for a starter and eggs, bacon, and home fries came with the waffles and pancakes. Third chap had the pancakes. The plates covered the table and were delicious. I just ate the plain waffle and some bacon and took the rest home. My friends finished everything, which I thought was impossible.

This was the best breakfast spot I've ever been to! No joke! My girlfriend and I are from out of state and where on our way out of town when a friend recommended this spot for breakfast. I'm so glad we stopped here, we had such an amazing experience. Everyone treated us like family, and the food was top tier, so many options and every one of them being delicious. I can't wait to come back to Boston just so I can stop by here again!

Great family owned place. Breakfast choices are numrous, well prepared and delicious. The side of cream of wheat with a dash of cinnamon is not to be missed! Be aware that you may encounter a long wait outside (where they have free coffee for the folks waiting) and if it's raining, there's no cover. But this place is worth the wait.

I'm in town from Goodyear, Arizona and Larry Ward said, "you have to go here." The food was fantastic! The juice, the Cream of Wheat, the eggs, the waffles, the fruit all off the chart. More than a 10 out of 10.
I've never had Cream of Wheat before today, but I will never forget it. I didn't order it, it comes with the meal. The people were great. Breakfast was so good it made me forget about lunch.
Did I mention that this experience happened under a patio covered in Concord grapes vines. Grapes were everywhere, So cool!
