This was our first time dining here and it definitely won’t be our last. Best Mexican food I have had in the Boston area. The restaurant is cozy and homey. The staff was very friendly and helpful in suggesting items from the menu. The food was absolutely phenomenal. We tried the fried plantains, tamales, Pechugas en Salsa de Chile Poblano, and Nopales con Cerdo. Everything was hot, fresh, and seasoned perfectly. We also tried the horchata, which was spicy and delicious but overly sweet. We will definitely be coming back here again and we look forward to trying their brunch menu.

Really nice cozy little restaurant in a area that’s a little bit quieter than Davis. The small plates were great .. the tamales sampler was actually pretty good with 3 different styles which were all really good. Plantains were perfect as starter snack..the shrimp tacos weren’t that bad, enjoyed the fresh avocado it came with. Will come back to try the deserts next time for sure.

I always drove past this place and never bothered to try it. Until my buddy of mine came over to my place with tacos, and they were so good. I asked him where he got them from and told me from Tu y Yo. So I went there today, and this place BLEW my mind. Them Birria tacos and michelada were SO GOOD. I definitely will be coming back here again.

Wonderful service. We didn't wonder to far out of the ordinary by getting enchiladas. They come with shredded beef or chicken and your choice of sauce, red, green or mole. I was very impressed with the chicken with mole sauce. I tried a bite of my partners beef with green sauce, it was also exceptional. Authentic Mexican is what comes across with a family feel. Plenty of items for the more adventurous to try and I bet they to are worth it. Great location, on street parking right in front. Simple seating with a very clean look.

The place was clean and festive, with large windows giving lots of natural light. The friendly staff provided quick service. The menu was reasonably priced and had the large variety of drinks. Very happy with my experience.

Delicious brunch menu with many vegetarian options, a really nice change of pace from trading diner brunch. Friendly and prompt service, good covid precautions, and reasonable prices make this a regular favorite.

This is my favorite restaurant in Boston. I cannot recommend Tu y Yo highly enough. Great for appetizers and drinks or a really good meal, they also have a lot of really good vegetarian options.
