Try the yak!. Great place! Loved it when I lived in Boston and I just went back during a visit. Must have the momos for appetizer. There is a very comforting cider and goat cheese drink - great on a cold night in winter. This place is a very unpretentious, competent purveyor of exotic Tibetan food. If you want a simple but delicious house-made meal, it's worth the trip to Teele Square.

Pricey for the portion sizes. But I can attest that the food is definitely very authentic. The staff were very helpful and the service was good.

This place is a rare gem. The decor and ambience truly transports you to another culture and place. The staff is as sweet as can be and often offer some special treats. They also sell exquisite handmade items like knit hats. The vegetarian food is intensely flavourful and healthy. The prices are remarkably moderate. This is a truly family business and you feel at home there. The service is warm and welcoming.

One of the best hidden gem restaurants in the area! We love their food: it’s so delicious and comforting, and the restaurant owner is very friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend! Oh and their vegetarian options are all delicious.

Visited here the other night and it did not dissapoint at all. Actually amazed me with how fair the prices were and how delicious everything was. We got the sampler appetizer which everything included was delicious especially the spring roll. All fried so not the healthiest choice but hits the spot. The sauce that came with it wasn't tasteful to me, atleast not in the good sense. But it's so good sauce isn't even necessary. Just tasted kind of like olives and I can't stand olives but my freind who I went with doesn't like olives either but enjoyed it. For the entree we split the dish featuring pumpkin. The taste of the pumpkin blended so well with the accompanying veggies. The rice was also great. Can't wait to return to try some more dishes. The price doesn't get much better for the quality of good served here which is top notch. The only thing they could improve on is adding some vegan dishes rather then just vegetarian. Other then that the place was all around great and introduced me to Tibetan food which left me wanting more. Highly recommend this small cute kitchen.

Wonderful place a family run business where they deeply care for the food they serve you and the service you get. ridiculously inexpensive for such quality food and the intimate atmosphere lends an air of authenticity. you forget you're in Somerville and it feels like a break from your everyday life. The food is made with love and care and you leave happy and satisfied. Your wallet will also be happy.

I am absolutely obsessed with this place. Order literally anything and it will blow you away. Get an order of momo with super peppery pickled cabbage and daikon. An order of Tsam Thuk Soup on a blistery New England winter day, nothing will warm you up better. What's great about this place though is you can tell it's homemade, vegetables are liberally used in the dishes and fresh as well, noodle dishes have so much ginger. Every time I get food here I wonder why I get food from anywhere else.
