This is my absolute favorite local place. The food is always amazing. The service is fantastic. Love it here.

You'd think after eating here 9 times I would have already written a review!
Boulevard Seafood is: New American style with the bold flavors of contemporary sea-to-table dining. Waiters serve tasty local dishes like shrimp corn chowder, yellow fin tuna poke, steamed little neck clams and a grilled chermoula organic salmon which is accompanied with basmati rice, spinach, french lentil pilaf while infused with a coconut madras curry broth.
The 'small plates' menu gives you upwards of 15 amazing and delicious selections to choose from. Order several for your table and you'll be sure to be content. Alongside the substantial, crowd pleasing small plate favorites, Chef/Owner Scott Snyder displays his serious fine dining creativity with tantalizing 'large plate' preparations of local fish, like sauteed red snapper with lobster cous cous, corn & leek, confit tomato and lobster froth. And lastly, if you want to really impress - try the raw bar selections, listed daily on the blackboard!
Add it all up, and you've got a gastronomical experience that can please even the most sophisticated palate. Boulevard Seafood is a breath of fresh air for the trendy, up-and-coming Somerville Main Street! I cannot wait to go back!
The steamed littleneck clams with chorizo sausage was sumptuous! The salmon .... perfect! Basmati rice with French lentil pilaf was the best rice dish I've ever had, and all was gluten free!
Went here for dinner last night, and it was so good! I never leave restaurant reviews, but I liked this place so much that I felt compelled to share. The food was delicious! It was prepared perfectly, and the menu used a lot of fine ingredients. We ordered oysters on the half shell, fried calamari (very fresh!), herbed crusted blackfish was amazing, and the scallops with pork belly...Let me say I have never seen scallops that big! We can't wait to go back!
First time here - with a friend who ate here last night and is coming back in a few days. Sat at the bar so we could watch the cooks in the open kitchen - always fun. And the food was terrific. I had gazpacho with crab - very good - and maybe the best fish tacos I've ever eaten. And for dessert, a huge bowl of berries with whipped cream - simple and perfect. My new favorite place in Somerville!
Food was phenomenal! Every course was well timed, and each plate was presented beautifully and was packed with flavor. Brooke, our waitress, was very personable and made our dining experience very enjoyable. I'm rating Boulevard in my top 5, and that is tough since I am a seafood lover from Maryland!

This was our third time there and we had a great meal each time. Oysters on the half shell are terrific and they have multiple options. I had the fried oyster tacos and they were also delicious. It’s a BYOB which helps keep the cost down. Very few seafood restaurants in the area-this is a gem!
I have eaten there a bunch of times. The food and service has been awesome until last night. Our server wasn't very good. My wife didn't like the salad special. I told the waiter and he asked if we wanted to take it home. I again told him she didn't like the salad and he just took it away. Never asked what was wrong or anything. He brought the bill and never said one word about the salad. My wife had 3 bites!! He also took the survey or rate card away as soon as the check was settled. Didn't even give me a chance to fill it out.
I love this place and won't let this 1 bad experience stop me from coming back. I hope to be back this week!
The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was really good. I will definitely go back there again. I had grilled salmon, bacon, lettuce and tomato on a fresh baked ciabatta roll. I loved it. My daughter had crab cakes with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. I tasted the crab cake and it was really good too.
This place is unbelievable. I have been to a lot of places and this is on top of my list! It's always fresh and delicious. I also love that it's BYOB and so local. The attention to detail and the favors of each of the dishes are amazing! Sit at the bar area and you'll realize the hard work that goes into each dish! I've been here for brunch and for dinner many times and I always want to go back. If you're looking for fresh, delicious and a great BYOB this is the way to go! Oh, and the oysters are unreal!
It's much more than seafood. Besides having a selection of fine dining on one side of the entrance, it's anchored down by a scrumptious bakery. The sandwiches looked amazing. I ordered grilled veggies which were grilled to perfection. With an open kitchen take a look at the preparation of your plate and thank the chef personally. Great service, great food, great location.
Boulevard never disappoints. The Oysters are the best I have had anywhere (fresh and cold). The specials always have something tasty. Only disappointment is their lack of a liquor license. They do have wine by the bottle available but on my last visit there were only red available.
My hubby and I have been here many times. We always get the oysters, Ormondo does an excellent job opening them, never a piece of sand or she'll. Never had a bad meal here, always fresh fish, and excellent service.

I had the lobster risotto. There was a piece of lobster in each bite. My husband had the mussels Provencal. Everything was delicious! Service was outstanding. Can't wait to go back!

Thoughtful, delectable, expert, creative and fresh. Our server was excellent and we were seated by an owner who even dimmed the lights for us as we were on a rare date night escaping our babies at home. We can’t wait to return.
The food and service here are great. The menu is not big, but it's quality over quantity here. Fantastic choice if you're in the mood for seafood. Been going here for years and haven't been disappointed.

I ordered the crab and avocado "cannelloni" and the octopus and shrimp salad. Both were fresh and delicious. My friend ordered the grouper special which was good but would've been better with less salt.
Our server was great. Even the busser was helpful.
I took my dad here for his birthday, and we sure enjoyed ourselves. He had the grilled faroe island salmon, and I had the grilled line caught swordfish. Management was pretty cool, and the waiting staff was friendly. It's an excellent place to take a date or family and friends for a fine dining outing.
Boulevard is our go-to seafood restaurant. It's in a great location on Main Street in Somerville, and the food is always delicious. I'm not even that big of a seafood eater, but I'll never turn down a meal here. My favorite dish is the herb crusted halibut.
Our dishes were amazing including our appetizers and dessert & our server Dixi went above and beyond to make sure we had an incredible dining experience.
Will absolutely refer friends to this great restaurant.
